the.ENTRANCE. Walking through the giant glass doors that mark Gattaca's entrance, this is the first part of the rather grand building that everybody encounters. Everything is basked either in white or chrome with blood test machines which everyone in the building must submit to halfway down the lobby before proceeding.

.physical.TRAINING. Gattaca requires that all its employees, no matter what their position, remain in near perfect physical shape. Lines of treadmills and other physical equipment fill the main room while an adjacent room is filled with various mission simulations for prospective astronauts.

.mission.CONTROLL Most possibly the heart of the program, Mission Control is where countless stations are set up, monitoring every possible part of a current project's status from fuel levels to oxygen supplies. Iformation is send back and forth between the space shuttle and Earth from this location.

.the.LABORATORY. located in the basement of Gattaca lies an extensive system of laboratoires. Used for everything from forumlating and testing a new piece of equipment to working on a new propellant for a shuttle, most of the behind the scenes work that pertains to a project is done here.

.launch.ROOM. Most possibly the largest room at Gattaca, the launch room is where all the shuttles are kept until their respective launch dates. A team of engineers always seems to be at work, fixing, modifying, and updating the designs of the vessels to their optimal abilities.

.cafeteria. A large room on the ground floor of the building, its back wall is taken up by a food court-esque selection area while the rest of the room is taken up by the scattering of round tables and chairs around the room. Don't expect any junk food to be served here, though. The company wants its employees to be in peak condition.

.bathrooms. There are two sets of bathrooms at Gattaca: men’s and women’s. Obviously, they contain the traditional bathroom fixtures, unlike the rest of the monochromatic space corporation, everything in here is in black and white. Checkerboard floors, white walls, black stalls, it's a wondeful place to hide if you don't want to be found.

.the.GROUNDS. Located off of the back of the Gattaca main building, the grounds stretch from the building's back doors to a stone wall which blocks the building off from the outside world. Perfectly manicured grass with the scatterin of steel benches and trees, a small artificial stream runs through the area, with an artificial waterfall over in the far corner.

.the.ROOF. Not one of the tallest buildings in the city by any means, but the roof of Gattaca Space Corporation provides one of the best views of the night sky around. Most of the workers at Gattaca will spend evenings up on the roof watching the latest project launch into space (if they're not a part of the project staff that is.)
