State of Mind

[William Fores]

Will sat at a small table. There was a book laid out infront of him and a piece note paper and a pencil were in his hands. He was doing research. But not for a school project. he was trying to figure out how to create partsfrom other animals ina human body. Infact the book infront of him was a book on snakes. He was facsinated with the fact taht snakes can generate venom adn store it in little sacks just behind the teeth. Everything else about a snake was actaully quite easy to replicate. However the venom sacs needed to be natural it seemed. And no matter how much researdh he did he couldn't seem to replicate anything a human didn't naturally have. It was strange and bewildering to Will. At the same time it was a challenge he wanted to over come. Thus the studying adn the notes.

Penny walked into the libary, she had been given a few books to skim over by Selene and wanted to read them. She spotted another person and decided to go and say hello, she didn't recognise them. She walked up quietly and looked at the book "Snakes?"

[Shizak Tork]

Shizak walked into the library and walked past a student reading a book about snakes. Snakes were Shizak's favorite animal and he was going to pull a little prank. He walked to where he couldn't be found and used his powers to create a snake on the table the kid was reading at. The snake wouldn't attack but would probably freak out the two students.

Will looked up from his book to reply when he caught sight of an actaul snake stting infront of his book. Will eyes widen a little bit. Well thsi was a surprise. Well he could let the thing just sit there. After all it was a spitting cobra. A very interesting snake the spitting cobra. "Yes. I'm very interested when it comes to snakes. They can do so many things that humans can't. A lot of animals can." He said to the person who approched him as he looks at the snake studying it. If it just appeared out of no where then someone summoned it. Well then it would know its summoner. "Spitting cobras are even moer interesting. After all they have venom they can SPIT at predators." He puts power into the qord spit and triggers a spell taht would cause the cobra to spit at its sumoner. The spitted venom flies in a direction to the left of the table will was sitting. It harmlessly hit the books but it gave Wil the direction he needed. "Freeze." He said casting the spell on the snake and the person behind the bookcase. THe spell unimportant muscles to stop moving or freeze. THese included the leg and arm muscles. Everything else liek the heart and lungs would function properly.

Penny jumped when the snake appeared and stared at it. Then looked around for who was responsable. The other boy froze the snake and then directed his spell at the bookcase. She walked over to it and peered around it "Shizak!"

[Shizak Tork]

Shizak's body might have been frozen in place but his mind wasn't. He focused really hard and using Dark Magic sent disturbing images to William's mind. They were images of his whole family being attack by giant snakes that couldn't being stopped by powers. The snakes wouldn't kill the family right away but would torture them to the brink of death and then let them go.

Will saw these images. Ok now that was too far. It was one thing to play a prank. But to go that low. No he must pay. Will glares at the bookcase and let out a spell. "Pain." he whispers under his breathe. The spell triggers a painful muscle spasm in Shizak's left shouldr. It lasts only a second. But then a spasm is triggerd in his right bicep. Then his legs then his chest. Different places are hit with spasms at random intervels. Some places are even hit twice. The man decided to go after his family. Well then he would go after him. He was attacked emotionally. Well then he would attack physically.

Penny gaped and then glared from one boy to the next, how could one silly prank end up like this? She didn't have a clue what Shizak had just done, but it had clearly made the other guy really mad. "Guys? Don't you think you're going a little to far?" She said tentitivly.

Will growls in his throat. He then turned to the girl. "Alright. Nevermind." Will said the cancel word. The freeze and spasm spells fade away. Will then turned and looked at the snake. He smiled humorlessly. He approached the table and sat in front of the snake. He just sat there letting his anger flow away adn instead study the snake. How it moved and breathed. It was fascinating creature. It only he replicate what made it so interesting.
