a world of sex, drugs, alcohol and love; halifax, canada where the parties seem to be rocking all night. where couples cheat on each other, and pretend to still be in love. where your best friend is your worst enemy. where the drugs are flowing and the liquor is pumping. teachers sleep with students, and students sleep with married couples. those who do get involved do so in their own quiet way. life is hiding behind closed doors, hoping you're not the next victim of gossip and being able to get away with what you did last night. school is just another factor in life. an obstacle in the way of what they really want to do. be free, and have fun. students are pretending to be learning something during the day, but when the lights go out; everything seems to change.

 Ssometimes things only happen when the lights go out. sex, drugs, alcohol and love. the four needs in life... or so they say in halifax, nova scotia, home to st. brutias university and waldorf academy. home to many citizens, students, foreigners, and gossipers. welcome to a world of sex, drugs, alcohol and love. the booze flow all night and the drugs pump through everyone's veins. your best friend is probably your worst enemy. talk it up or be talked about. the married cheat with their spouse's best friend. the couples cheat with the married. the teachers mess around with students and the students fall in love with teachers.
Citizens are either in the action, or a bystander; observing and knowing what's going on. the latest gossip spreads through the citizens like a wildfire in a forest. drugs and alcohol are probably the best friend you've got. love is a lie and sex is a way of life. lusting leads to suicide, and suicide leads to loss. you lie to get away with all that you've done, but go to school the next morning like nothing happen. but you’re wrong, everyone knows what had happened. everyone knows what you did last night. during the day you're learning. during the day you're a normal citizen. but when the lights go out, everything seems to change.
