As you might have noticed, I finally started working through some older threads, cleaning up the board. I'll update about that here, as I go, to keep you informed about all changes.

Here is a list of everything that has changed so far: (new changes in red)

* over 355 spam posts deleted (without notification)
* over 582 signatures in violation of the spam rules disabled (without using the "edited by" line)
* over 78 successive posts merged
* 31 thread titles were changed (for better topic description)
* the Birthdays/Welcome Center was renamed into Greetings and Introductions Center
* several lone introductions were merged with the introductions thread
* several holiday greeting threads were moved to the Greetings and Introductions Center section
* the new board section News, Gossip, and Opinions was created in the Jē section
* the introductions thread was split up by creating 3 new threads in order to keep on topic
The three new threads are:
- the Avatar Discussion Thread
- The Totally Bonkers Wincest Party Thread
- RPS - What do you think about it?
* the Off Topic Shout Out Box thread was split up by creating 3 new threads in order to separate on-topic and off-topic posts, also several posts were moved to other threads, according to topic.
The three new threads are:
- TV Guide's Sexiest Sci-Fi Stars
- Spreading The Love - Ever hooked someone up on SPN?
- Livejournal
* The two R.I.P. threads (for Heath Ledger and Paul Newman) were merged and the thread was renamed: In Memoriam, a place to commemorate the deceased
* The job interview thread was merged with the Shout Out Box
* the secondary Rank Title poll has been posted
* the Jensen, like Jared, in other roles - he was love as Jason Teague thread was renamed: Jensen in other roles
* the Jared's new look thread was renamed: Jared's Hair
* the Christmas Cottage Trailer thread was merged with the Christmas Cottage on DVD thread
* the Jared and Jensen looking a little gayer than usual thread was moved to the Jē section (News, Gossip, and Opinions)
* the fanfiction/fanart posting rules have changed (no more "my fic" or "my art" in the titles)
* the a place to recommend... all things Jē thread was split into three separate threads and a sub forum for all Jē recs was created in the Jē section of the board. It's called Jē Recs - A Place To Recommend... All Things Jē and the three threads are:
- Jē Fic Recs
- Jē Art Recs
- Other Jē Recs
* the Jē... live together! thread was moved to the News, Gossip, and Opinions section
* several posts of the Fanfiction Requests thread were moved to the Wincest Fic Search Thread or the Beta Request Thread
* all fic post titles have been changed (the "My Fic:" was deleted in order to save title space)
* several art recs were merged, forming the Wincest Art Recs thread
* A new sub-forum was created: Wincest Recs
* four theads were moved to the new Wincest Recs section:
- Wincest Art Recs
- Your All-Time Favorite Wincest Fics
- Favorite Supernatural Fanvids...
- Favorite Wincest Videos
- all art post titles have been changed (the "My Art:" was deleted in order to save title space)
* several release date threads were merged with The DVDs - details and release dates thread
* several single posts were moved according to topic (Sorry, I lost track of which ones exactly, my computer crashed somewhere in the middle)
* merged additional interview threads with the original Interviews thread
* the two SyFy Portal Awards threads were merged and then renamed "Awards - Go vote for your show!" as other awards were mentioned in there as well
* fours posts in the Awards thread were moved to the Jared's Hair thread, according to topic
* the two threads about scenes/things that we wish would happen on the show were merged
* the merchandise thread about the collectible busts and books was merged with the older It's not obsession, it's dedication - merchandise and other geeky stuff thread about trading cards and T-Shirts.
* several threads were pinned in order to make it easier for people to see them (as there had been several redundant threads which people posted instead of commenting in the already existing topic threads), the pinned threads are:
- The DVDs - details and release dates
- Things you wish would happen on the show - scenes, plotlines, etc.
- It's not obsession, it's dedication - merchandise and other geeky stuff
- Interviews
- Trailers/Promos/Director's Cuts
* a user away note thread has been created in the off-topic section
* new changes are now marked red in this update thread
* all thread titles in the episode discussion sub section have been edited so they read, 'SeasonNumber x EpisodeNumber - Episode title'
* several threads split and merged according to topic
* a new Jē group fic thread has been opened, even though the previous story is not finished, yet
* a whole thread in the Wincest section was deleted because it was off-topic and redundant (mostly just introduction), and spam (PM-like dialogue instead of actual discussion)
* the splitting of some threads resulted in two new threads, which both can be found in the 'the show' section:
- Relationships and the Dream World
- Ad-libbed Scenes
* a Wincest Art Rec thread was moved from the Art section to the Art Rec section (according to topic) and merged with the already existing thread
* the Actors section has been renamed Actors and Crew
* Subsections of "Actors and Crew" have been changed:
- the Jeffrey Dean Morgen sub forum has been made a thread and moved to the Guest Stars sub forum
- a new sub forum The Crew was created

New:
* The Episode Overview List is up to date again
* Various award threads in the show section have be re-titled - they now include the award name and the year of the award/voting
