Maddox licked the barbecue sauce off his fingers and with a smile to himself grabbed at the air for what he was sure he had set on the shelf beside him. He turned rather abruptly to his left, when he realized the space was vacant. Void of Diva, his trusty, beautiful companion. The teenager’s heart skipped a beat, and he turned his whole body in the direction of where his beloved was meant to be.
Sadly, there was no sign of the white and black checkerboard style he’d come to love. Nor the rough black surface he loved to run his fingers across. The young man looked lost for a moment, before smiling and reaching under the table. She was there, of course. His companion, the love of his life, his skate board.
Maddox hit his head on the table, as he brought the skateboard up. And he winced a string of cuss words leaving his mouth as he grabbed at the back of his head, rubbing it vigorously. It was then he realized the pretty girl was sitting in ear shot of him. He held up a hand and smiled sheepishly. “Sorry,” he said to her from the small distance away.

Margaret sipped at her drink then looked around once again. This was the second time she had gone out in a while, the first time didn't end well. She had made a fool of herself & just gotten laughed at by one of the older werewolves. She didn't want to see that person so she was keeping an eye out. She had came out to try & make friends but she doubted she would get the guts to talk to someone & if she did she would never make conversation or a friend.
Her head flew up when she heard someone cuss, she had never liked it when people swore. She saw it was the boy sitting in the table next to hers. He looked not much older than Marg & she smiled when he apologised, at least he was polite. "I-it's ok," she said, not sounding as stupid as she usually did but not sounding completely normal either. She blused slightly & sipped at her drink again, hoping she hadn't sounded stupid.
She looked up at him again, her slight embarrassment gone. She had to admit he was kinda cute, he had long hair that suited him & he was holding a skate board. Marg had tried skate boarding when she was twelve, she hadn't enjoyed it much, she had ended up in the hospital with a broken leg. She was good at running, that was about all the sporting ability she had. She had no balance & she had freaked out everytime the skate board had moved, that was probably why she had taken a trip to the hospital.

(OOC: Sorry so short)
Maddox’s smile was genuine and it grew a bit when she smiled in return. He took in his surroundings at that moment, the vacant tables, the cashier playing with the pink stringy gum in her mouth, chewing loudly on it, whilst talking to someone on the work phone. He felt a little bad for the owners. His attention was quickly averted away from the happenings around him when he realized something. This girl looked familiar.
It only took a second or two for him to realize he was starring. “Sorry,” he laughed, but still did not look away, only softened his gaze. “You look familiar,” he offered, and brought his hands up to tie back his long mane into a ponytail at the nape of his neck. “Have we met?” he asked her, his brow arching slightly.

Margaret noticed that the boy was staring at her and she looked down, feeling a little uncomfortable but she smiled and looked up again when he apologised. She thought for a second, she couldn't remember meeting the boy before but maybe he was a member of Luke's pack too and he had seen her around before, that was the best reason she could think of for her seeming familiar to him.
"I can't remember, um, don't think so." she shrugged and sipped at her drink once again. He seemed like a werewolf, she didn't know how but she could kind of sense he was one. "Are you in Luke's pack?" she asked, running her hand through her long, brown hair.

When the girl before him replied he couldn’t help but bite down on his lip. He was horrible with names, but faces were a different ball court. He could remember faces because of his picturesque memory. (Which wasn’t always a good thing, some things really weren’t worth remembering.) He opened his mouth to speak, but closed it when she beat him to it. Maddox appeared relieved when the girl mentioned Luke, he was starting to wonder if she might think he was trying to come on to her with some cheap trick. Not that he wouldn’t come on to her, she was awfully pretty.
Maddox nodded with a knowing smile and glanced around. “Did you want some company?” he asked her, his tone was gentle. The same tone one might use when approaching an animal that might attack. He did not want to invade her personal space, but sometimes being alone wasn’t all that fun, something he knew from experience. His brown eyes shown a sort of playful innocence as he awaited an answer. He chuckled softly and looked down at his plate full of fries.

She smiled when he nodded, it would be good if she could become friends with some of the other wolves in the pack. He seemed really nice so she guessed that he would be friends with most of the other wolves. Then she remembered that she didn't know the boys name and she hadn't told him hers, that was rude not that she would know much about being polite. Spending a couple of years being anti-social, she had kinda forgotten how to be polite but she could remember some things. "I'm Margaret by the way," she told the boy.
She nodded whenhe asked if she wanted some company, she was feeling quite lonely sitting by herself. You'd think after a year or so of spending time alone you'd get used to it but that hadn't happened, Marg had just gotten more and more lonely. She sipped at her drink again, she tried to find something to do when she was socializing because it felt so foreign to her. When she had became anti-social she hadn't even talked to her parents that much, most of the time she was alone.

“Oh, right,” he laughed. “I’m Maddox,” he offered as he pushed his chair out and walked over to her table. Smiling the boy slipped into the chair opposite her at the table. He placed his back pack and skate board on the chair beside them and dug one of his fries into the tiny, white paper bucket full of ketchup. “Want any?” he asked her before popping the dunked fry into his mouth.
“Can I call you Margie?” he asked her nonchalantly. He sucked at the straw to his medium unsweetened ice tea and once again the smile was there. “You have really pretty hair,” he told her in a matter-of-fact tone. Maddox tended to be a little random, and though it was something he knew he did, it seemed to be something he couldn’t fix. He often said things without thinking, and more than not it got him into trouble.

Margaret smiled, his name was really cool. Maddox, she had never heard the name before but she really liked it. She looked at the fries, she hadn'thad thm in ages, she loved them in her early teens but she had stopped eating then when she fourteen. She had thought of them as unhealthy but they weren't as bad as some foods. "Sure," she said, taking one of his fries and popping it in her mouth, not liking ketchup. "Yep, I like that nickname." She'd had that nickname before as well as Marg which was her favourite one.
She blushed when he said she had pretty hair then looked down at her coke. "Um, thanks." She mumbled, embarressed. She had never been complimented by a boy before, yes, it sounded stupid. She was a pretty sixteen year old girl that had never had a boyfriend or even been complimented by a boy, she was so regreting spending most of her teen years anti-social now, it had been very stupid but she knew she still didn't like socializing very much and would have to wait a while till it would be a normal thing.
