Hope Hansack continues his solid Spring.
I suspect he'll be first in line for a call up should Julian not be able to handle the starting doodies.

I still think he should be our closer instead though..... and Papelbon making our rotation the strongest one since those late 90's Yankees teams. Instead we've got just another very good top rotation but weak at the bottom. angry.gif

I don't think so, but only because that would involve Tavarez being traded or someone clearing waivers. Or Timlin being encouraged to make sure he's really really really ]really healthy before he comes back.

Snyder gets the second shot at #5.

This is good. Edwin Jackson is a top notch pitching prospect...... he's the real deal and could make a nice team with Kazmir.

I also see the DRays have BJ Upton in CF.... I also suspect if he works out there (since he hasn't at 2nd, SS or 3rd) that either Baldelli or Crawford will be made available, and if the Drays FO was intelligent (they haven't shown much yet) they'd move one of them for a top pitching prospect. If these guys get smart..... they'll do it soon and be competeing in the AL East rather soon!

And hey.... Upton makes a nice catch on Coco!!! Actually good to see Coco make nice contact... he's been out for so damned long with a sore shoulder.

YOUK!!!! Double down the 3rd base line!!!!

Varitek looks overmatched against Jackson.... ugh. He's definitely starting to scare me a little....

Manny K's. Jackson looks good. He could crack the rotation this season....

1,2,3 for Hansack. Very efficient, 3 easy weak flyouts.
