He stands no chance of making the team this year, and will most likely start the season in High-A Salem, but Henry Owens is one of the reasons to feel good about the Red Sox's future. He's currently our #3 pitching prospect, according to most rankings, behind only Matt Barnes and Allen Webster.

I mentioned elsewhere the thirteen strikeouts he made the other day while pitching in an intrasquad game, but it bears repeating. THIRTEEN STRIKEOUTS!
