Title: 3/2 vs. BJ's

Kyle Snyder gtakes the mound at 12:35 pm at City of Palms Park, and Manny makes his debut. Snyder is out of options, so he's pitching for a roster spot.

From BDC's Extra Bases blog:

The Blue Jays sent a skeleton squad here, much like the Sox did yesterday to Dunedin. Gustavo Chacin is drawing the start for the Jays, with Alex Rios, who is DHing and batting cleanup, maybe the most prominent guy on their travel squad.

Manny is batting cleanup as the Sox roll out their 3-4-5 combo --Papi, Manny, and JD Drew -- for the first time this spring. Manny will probably bow out after a couple of ABs.

BJ's win 9-6 in 10 innings. Here's the box score. Toronto's first 6 runs were against Fat Elvys Hernandez, and the last 3 against Sturge.

Outside of Hernandez and Sturge, the pitching performances look very good. Donnelly and Corey have now delivered very good innings twice already!! Snyder did nothing to harm his chances to stick either....

Thanks again for the coverage, Thin

Drew gets a hit and so does Bladergroen! Hope to hear more from him. Love to see him blossom soon.
