Rules

On General Conduct

001. Respect each other! Whether its in character or out of character, be polite. Anyone being racist, sexist etc will be punished immediately.

002. This is a mature site, so should topics like violence, sex, alcohol and so forth come up, you have been warned.

003. This is a historical site, so please keep to the time period. A few inaccuracies on anyone's part are excusable. If you have any questions, dont be afraid to ask for advice. Also, take a quick visit to the history section if you are still unsure.

004. No plagirism! Anything from stealing graphics without due credit to layouts is illegal.

On Joining and Characters

005. Your username must be the intended first and last name of your character, captalized properly (Angelo Torrinha, for instance). If necessary, an admin can alter it once youve completed your application but lets start as we mean to go on!

006. Be patient when waiting for an admin to approve your application. And please be respectful if they cannot accept you straight away. At the end of the day, if we give you suggestions, we're only trying to help.

007. Do not post in the roleplay boards until your application has been accepted! After that, your'e free to post wherever you like.

008. Please be original! We don't want hundreds of Lizzy Bennets running around whilst twenty Mr Darcys sulk in the corner. This also applies to names and face claims. Just because your character is named Hubert in the book, doesn't mean you have to call him Hubert here. Similarly, if Mrs. X played your character in a film version, it doesn't mean you have to use Mrs. X here. Originality and alternative interpretations are loved!

009. Please, no mary sues or anything along those lines. No-one is perfect, which applies to characters as well.

On Roleplaying

010. This is a intermediate to advanced site which means at least 3 decent sized paragraphs of good quality. We understand if you are having one of those days, so less at times will be accepted, however dont let it become a habit.

011. The spell checker is there, so please use it! We like good grammar!

012. Should mature themes arise in your thread, place an X in the title or topic description.

013. No godmodding, powerplaying or any of that. Nobody likes it and, unless you have specific permission under exceptional circumstances, you will be warned and/or punished.

014. Any deaths, pregnancies or so forth must have the permission of the involved characters and also a member of staff.

On Other Matters

015. Avatars should be no more than 100x100 and signatures should not stretch the page. Neither should contain indecent pictures and both should be fully credited!

016. Warnings and punishments will be given should the admins feel it is necessary. Admins reserve the right to ban or delete accounts in extreme circumstances.

017. These rules may be updated, amended and added to at any time.
