Also, for those that register, it'd be wise if you register the name of the character you want. And to either register as your character's nickname or your character's real name. If you put both, it's... Sort of long. So, no, "iluvjohn!" sns either. But if you do, that's alright. As Admin I have the awesome power to change your username. Thank you. <3

WELCOME

Date: August 12, 1966
City: Chicago, Illinois
What?: A Beatles concert.
That's right, we're going along a Beatles tour in America. Good times, right? Automatic fun and carefree activities, you think? Wrong. Much controversy has followed the four lads from Liverpool. From being exiled and hated in the Phillipines for an invitation they didn't even know they were breaking by the royalty themselves, to an apparently blasphmous comment that sent religous groups in a fury. Not to mention the fact that with all the screaming, they might as well just mime instead of sing. Will they find touring even worth it?
This may very well be their last tour, but if it is, they've brought along quite the new acts.
California Dreams - An All-Girl version of the Beach Boys
Lady Moon and the Night Mists - A Sister Act that may be the next face of Motown
The Entertainers - New York City boys that know how to jazz it up.
The Bouncing Beats - Lads from Scotland whose music definately make you want to move.
Shifting Light - This Ex-Rock band ( formally known as "One Four Seven" ) give a unique Indian influence and guarntee an experience you won't forget.
Who will you be in this once in a lifetime opportunity? One of the boys? One of the new acts? A part of the crew? A reporter? A photographer? A manager? Or maybe a groupie? You decide.
It's gonna be a hard days' night... Can you take it [Eight Days A Week]?

And I bring to you...The year? 1966. The month? August 12th. Get your tickets ready, we're going to a Beatles concert.
That's right, sirs and ladies. The Beatles are coming to your town. But what you don't know, is this will be the last concert they will ever play. What you also don't know, that instead of a concert full of happiness and fun, there is a shadow lurking about the Lads from Liverpool as well.
Their previous stop was at the Phillipines, where the Beatles had become enemies to the people that had loved their concert. In the morning after the concert, the sleepy boys sat in their hotel beds, watching on TV as they DIDN'T show up for an invitation to breakfast with the nation's First Lady, Imelda Marcos. Brian Epstein, the Beatles Manager, had politely declined the invitation. But, apparently, "No" was not an answer that Marcos' regime accepted. The country turned on them, and were lucky to escape out of it alive.
As soon as they arrived, on the Eve of what would be their last tour, in Chicago, another controvery arised. John Lennon had made a comment earlier that had caused a backlash within America. In an interview with British reporter Maureen Cleave Lennon had offered his opinion that Christianity was dying and that The Beatles were "more popular than Jesus now." People were burning and smashing Beatles memorbilia, and Lennon had issued an apology in Chicago Press Conference. All seemed to be well... For now.
This will be a tour that would surely shake all those involved. After this, the 60's as we know it will change into a totally different direction. Will it be for the better? Or for the worse? At this point, no one knows. One thing's for sure, however. If you're going out, you might as well make a bang out of it.
Who will you be? A part of the crew? An aspiring musician and/or band? A manager? One of the Beatles themselves? Or a groupie?
Join us, and let's party like it's 1969!
