Also, for those that register, it'd be wise if you register the name of the character you want. And to either register as your character's nickname or your character's real name. If you put both, it's... Sort of long. So, no, "iluvjohn!" sns either. But if you do, that's alright. As Admin I have the awesome power to change your username. Thank you. <3

WELCOME

Date: August 12, 1966

City: Chicago, Illinois

What?: A Beatles concert.

That's right, we're going along a Beatles tour in America. Good times, right? Automatic fun and carefree activities, you think? Wrong. Much controversy has followed the four lads from Liverpool. From being exiled and hated in the Phillipines for an invitation they didn't even know they were breaking by the royalty themselves, to an apparently blasphmous comment that sent religous groups in a fury. Not to mention the fact that with all the screaming, they might as well just mime instead of sing. Will they find touring even worth it?

This may very well be their last tour, but if it is, they've brought along quite the new acts.

California Dreams - An All-Girl version of the Beach Boys
Lady Moon and the Night Mists - A Sister Act that may be the next face of Motown
The Entertainers - New York City boys that know how to jazz it up.
The Bouncing Beats - Lads from Scotland whose music definately make you want to move.
Shifting Light - This Ex-Rock band ( formally known as "One Four Seven" ) give a unique Indian influence and guarntee an experience you won't forget.

Who will you be in this once in a lifetime opportunity? One of the boys? One of the new acts? A part of the crew? A reporter? A photographer? A manager? Or maybe a groupie? You decide.

It's gonna be a hard days' night... Can you take it [Eight Days A Week]?

Canons Available:

The Beatles - 4/4
California Dreams - 4/4
Lady Moon and the Night Mists - 2/3
The Entertainers - 4/4
The Bouncing Beats - 4/4
Shifting Light - 5/6
Managers - 5/6

And there's...

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"Ladies and Gentlemen--Oh, who am I kidding? This is a message for the GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS!!! As you heard me say, and if you didn't you're gonna hear it now, TWO lucky girls, and maybe boys we won't descriminate, and two of their friends will have the chance to, yes, that's right, TOUR WITH THE BEATLES!!!

Yes, that's right. In a second, we'll be throwing a contest where TWO girls or boys, or girl and boy, wins the opportunity of a lifetime. To attend the tour of the Beatles, along with acts from California Dreams, Chicago's own Lady Moon and the Night Mists, Then Entertainers, Shifting Light and the other lads from over the sea, from the land of Scots: The Bouncing Beats. Never heard of 'em? Neither have I! But one thing's for sure, after this tour, everyone will.

The lucky four, including the friends would make it four, will have an all-access experience on the tour. Backstage, parties and ofcourse, you'll meet the Beatles! John, Paul, George and Ringo, you'll meet them! How could you not want it?! Don't worry, Mom and Dad, your kids will be supervised, ofcourse. When the Lads' manager, Mr. Brian Epstein thought of the idea, he went ahead with all the preparations, don't you worry. Mr. Epstein will take full responsibility for the winners underage. He shall be superviser, alongside a team he gathered who will attend the concerts and travels alongside the winners. Well, that's awfully nice of him, isn't it? Now, I know most of you think this is a joke that we're pulling, but in actuality this is all real. And to prove that, we have Mr. Epstein on the phone with us. Brian, tell the folks of Chicago hello for us and assure the parents surely listening with worrying eyes next to their kids?"

QUOTE ("Brian Epstein")
"Haha, I'm sure they're worried, yes. I don't blame them, really. I like to assure the parents that their children, if they win ofcourse, will be heavilly supervised by not only me, but a team of others. Their safety is one of many top priorities durring this tour..."

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"I'm sure the boys are excited about this tour?"

QUOTE ("Brian Epstein")
"Oh, we all are, really. I know I'm excited about it. The Boys are, too. I'm excited to see the new acts involved in the tours as well."

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"Tell us all a bit about that. Now, when one thinks of getting some acts for a tour headlining the Beatles, a VERY mainstream group, most would think to get other well-known bands to join. Probably the Shirelles or the many successful bands that you've managed. Tell me, Brian, what made you think to sign unknown bands that you would find playing in empty coffee houses to tour with the BEATLES?! Please, I just don't understand."

QUOTE ("Brian Epstein")
"Haha, most have asked me that same exact question. The only answer I can give you is: Why not? Ofcourse you'd normally book bands that people know of. I wanted to do something different. I know it's hard to get a record deal, I remember very well how hard it was to get the Beatles a record deal. So I got in touch with some local managers in America, and in Scotland, about some local talent. I like to help local bands if I can, bands with talent and try and help get their foot in the door. Or at the very least get them to play in front of audiences. I love the new acts, from what I've heard, and can't wait to see the audience's reaction."

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"That's very kind of you, Mr. Epstein. I'm sure the new acts appreciate all that you've done. Now, I know the boys had come across some controversy as of late--"

QUOTE ("Brian Epstein")
"--Um. I'm afraid I can't comment on that. Terribly sorry."

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"Not even a little?"

QUOTE ("Brian Epstein")
"Afraid so."

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"Well, that's a shame. Might as well, we're running out of time either way. Brian, any words of encouragement to the hopeful winners of this contest?"

QUOTE ("Brian Epstein")
"Yes, actually. I wish you all good luck. The reason I suggested this contest was to start something new and exciting for the fans. I can speak for myself and the boys when I say, that without the fans, we wouldn't be where we are today. And all the boys, including myself, are deeply thankful for your support. Hopefully, if some could not make it to this tour, surely we'll see you on the next. Goodbye for now."

QUOTE ("Radio DJ")
"Thank you, Brian. That, folks, was Mr. Brian Epstein. Wonderful fellow. And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for... The contest... It's quite simple, the first 100th and 120th caller to call us wins, and the two winners brings two of their friends along the tour of THE BEATLES! Folks, we know you want these golden tickets to the chance of a lifetime, so GO! Call us! Contest starting..... NOW!!"

Two fans will win.

Four will join the winners.

Making a total of six fans who will join the Fab Four.

You better hurry or you'll be left out in the dust.
