What?: A Beatles concert.

That's right, we're going along a Beatles tour in America. Good times, right? Automatic fun and carefree activities, you think? Wrong. Much controversy has followed the four lads from Liverpool. From being exiled and hated in the Phillipines for an invitation they didn't even know they were breaking by the royalty themselves, to an apparently blasphmous comment that sent religous groups in a fury. Not to mention the fact that with all the screaming, they might as well just mime instead of sing. Will they find touring even worth it?

This may very well be their last tour, but if it is, they've brought along quite the new acts.

The Entertainers - New York City boys that know how to jazz it up.

Shifting Light - This Ex-Rock band ( formally known as "One Four Seven" ) give a unique Indian influence and guarntee an experience you won't forget.

;;we're just walking into a WONDERLAND;; Group: Groupies \|\| Admin Posts: 79 Member No.: 1 Joined: 2-December 06	The Rules: 1.) You MUST be literate. I will not be able to stress this enough. The good thing to do while in an RP is to UNDERSTAND the person you're RP'ing with. Spell check and a dictionary are your FRIENDS, people. I don't expect you to be flawless in your spelling. Typos happen, sometimes you misspell a word. I understand, it happens. But I don't want to spend five minutes trying to understand what it is that you wrote. So, if you are too "lazy" to type full sentences and the such, use chatspeak in roleplaying... ( If I see a person writing something like, "Then John went LOLZ and said 'i ttly pwn u! LOLOLZ!'" I will delete and pretend you never came across this site. I swear it. ) You might as well leave right now. 2.) Be DESCRIPTIVE! The shortest post you are allowed here is a paragraph. Not a four sentence paragraph. Either a 7-8 sentence paragraph. I don't want any short sentences either. Be descriptive in your sentences. Make the reader see your surroundings and what your character is thinking, his/her point of view. While we're at it, I don't want any In Character posts to be written in first person. The only exception is for journals if you choose to make a Journal thread. It's just tacky, in my opinion. We're not writing essays or journaling in RP posts. So please, write your RP posts in the third person. If people are confused at the difference, I'll give an example. First Person: I soon retreated into the hotel room, and collapsed onto the bed. I was so tired, I just went straight to sleep. That's just journaling. This isn't a Journal board. It's an RPG board! Third Person: John retreated into the hotel room, collapsing on the bed. He was obviously tired, going straight to sleep. See the difference? So folks, please, please me by using third person while writing your rp posts. 3.) No DRAMA. By this, I mean, be nice to each other. Also, leave IC drama ( which is allowed or this will be a very boring RPG, wouldn't it? ) IC. Just because one character is nasty to your character, doesn't mean the person BEHIND the character hates you and it doesn't give you the right to be nasty to the person BEHIND the character. These are fictional characters, fictional characters! .... Aside from John, Paul, George and Ringo. And Brian Epstien. And... Well, you know where I'm getting at. I will not be a referee. If problems arise, I want those involved to resolve it. Do not cry to me. Don't give me a PM saying, "OMGZ, THIS PERSON HATES ME, MAKE THEM STOPPPP!!!" I hope all of you will be rational and pleasant people. If you're not, well, no one's gonna stop you from leaving. "But...! They attacked my character, and my character, is, like, me. And.. And!! She/He is like perfect in any way and isn't hated by anyone!" Which brings me to the next subject... 4.) Death to all Mary Sues and Gary Stus. You heard me. DEATH. Why? They are BORING. You create a character that's just "You"? There's no creating involved! It's just.... You! Now, a character that has some of your traits and maybe some of your personality, that's fine and dandy. Aslong as you create a background and history that's truly of your creative mind, that's fine. If your character is the image of perfection, don't apply. Reason being, to think anyone, real or not, is the image of perfection is just wrong. No one is the image of perfection. Everyone has their faults and short comings in real life, and the same should be said of your character. Please keep this in mind... 5.) No Godmodding. You do not, and will never, have control of another's character. You have control of your character, and your character alone. It's just plain rude and unacceptable. If you are confused... EXAMPLE: Mary bumped into Gary, looked at his face and saw him smiling at her. He asked if she was okay and held her hand. No, no, no, no! That folks, is "Godmodding" and BANNED from this board! A GOOD example would be... THIS IS THE GOOD EXAMPLE, FOLKS!: Mary bumped into Gary, and looked up. She felt embarassed that she had bumped into him and anxiously waited for his reaction. Got it? See how Gary's reaction is not noted and all the writing was on Mary? Awesome. Moving along... In the application when asked "All my loving?" put "Will be taxed by the Taxman." 6.) Be REALISTIC This sort of refers to the folks who would look forward to play one of the "boys." ( Beatles, duh ) I want you guys to be REALISTIC to their personality and a knowledge of their history will be nice. And, well... Darlings, I'd like you all to pay attention to this next point. If you are looking to Roleplay them sexing up each other, as in LennonxMcCartney, RingoxGeorge, etc., shipping.... Then turn right back around. I hate to break it to ya, but everything points to John, Paul, George and Ringo being VERY straight. Hell, John almost killed a guy that either started, or tried to make a joke that he and Brian Epstein were a thing. They're ALL straight. Not bi. Not gay. Not curious. STRAIGHT. I don't mind the slash fics that are on the net ( mostly because I don't read them as slash doesn't get me "randy" ) but... We won't be having any of that with the Boys. Though, if you so desire to RP as one of the musicians travelling with them to be gay, go for it. And there's always Brian "Eppy" Epstein. Though, I do want an equal balance of straight and gay characters. I think that's only fair, don't you think? Think of the poor female groupies! D: Also going back to playing the Beatles realistically... I don't want to see Ringo going all suicidal, and I don't want Ringo to going all bitchy and all. CLOSE TO THEIR PERSONALITIES. Try to stay to the time, as well. That's important. It's 1966, let's party like it! 7.) You CAN play multiple characters. Aslong as you can handle it. Also, feel free to register before you apply, first and last name or maybe even a nickname, aslong as it relates to your character and we all can understand it. Cool? Cool. 8.) Images... The Maximum size for avatars is 100x100. For signatures, no set size or heightxwidth, but for the love of GOD don't have it so big that it stretches the page. That's all I ask. GIF and JPG formats are much appreciated. 9.) Sex IS allowed... Yes, yes, it's allowed. We all know what groupies are usually for. But, for threads that deal with sex, I ask you to put a warning or a "MATURE CONTENT" in the title or description of the thread. ( and it'd be wise if you would make a seperate thread for such mature content ) So, go wild. 10.) Respect your Admin(s). JUST. DO. IT. Understood? Good!
