Also, for those that register, it'd be wise if you register the name of the character you want. And to either register as your character's nickname or your character's real name. If you put both, it's... Sort of long. So, no, "iluvjohn!" sns either. But if you do, that's alright. As Admin I have the awesome power to change your username. Thank you. <3

WELCOME

Date: August 12, 1966

City: Chicago, Illinois

What?: A Beatles concert.

That's right, we're going along a Beatles tour in America. Good times, right? Automatic fun and carefree activities, you think? Wrong. Much controversy has followed the four lads from Liverpool. From being exiled and hated in the Phillipines for an invitation they didn't even know they were breaking by the royalty themselves, to an apparently blasphmous comment that sent religous groups in a fury. Not to mention the fact that with all the screaming, they might as well just mime instead of sing. Will they find touring even worth it?

This may very well be their last tour, but if it is, they've brought along quite the new acts.

California Dreams - An All-Girl version of the Beach Boys
Lady Moon and the Night Mists - A Sister Act that may be the next face of Motown
The Entertainers - New York City boys that know how to jazz it up.
The Bouncing Beats - Lads from Scotland whose music definately make you want to move.
Shifting Light - This Ex-Rock band ( formally known as "One Four Seven" ) give a unique Indian influence and guarntee an experience you won't forget.

Who will you be in this once in a lifetime opportunity? One of the boys? One of the new acts? A part of the crew? A reporter? A photographer? A manager? Or maybe a groupie? You decide.

It's gonna be a hard days' night... Can you take it [Eight Days A Week]?

Canons Available:

The Beatles - 4/4
California Dreams - 4/4
Lady Moon and the Night Mists - 2/3
The Entertainers - 4/4
The Bouncing Beats - 4/4
Shifting Light - 5/6
Managers - 5/6

Nice, but can ya dig a bit deeper INSIDE?

Personality: dreamer, caring, hopeful, yields to her sisters, loyal, friendly, sweetheart

Although she isn't living in her parents' home anymore, and she isn't following their morals quite as strictly as she used to, Maria was still greatly influenced by the eighteen years she spent there. She might drink occasionally, and she might go out to parties and nightclubs, but she is still very much a 'good-girl' (compared to her sisters and most other musicians) and a sweetheart.

You're doing good, and we're almost done. Now your PAST...

History: Maria Perry was born March 13, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in birth by her two older sisters, with whom she would later become Lady Moon and the Night Mists. While the family was by no means rich, they lived in a comfortable, middle-class home in one of Chicago's quieter neighborhoods. Even when she was little, she was close to her sisters, though they sometimes saw her as more of an annoyance than anything else. Religion played an important part in the Perry family, and some of Maria's earliest memories were of church picnics or Sunday school. The morals and ethics she learned at church and in her home shaped much of Maria's early life. While she was never the goody-goody sort of child, she was always there to help her friends and classmates and when she did break the rules it was just minor mischief, nothing serious.

Maria and her sisters grew up listening to gospel music at home. Their parents possessed a fairly large collection of records, and anything that wasn't available that way could easily be heard on the radio. Ever since they were just little girls, Maria and her sisters loved to sing along to the songs, much to the amusement of their parents. Even then, the oldest sister acted as a leader, choosing which songs they would sing and which ones they wouldn't. Maria looked up to her sisters, so she went along with what they said, believing that their choices were better, for she was still young enough to believe in the wise, benevolent, all-knowing idea of an older sister. When she was old enough, she joined the school and church choirs, and she started to develop her voice more.

Although she was never one of the most popular girls, Maria had a close group of friends and was fairly well liked most of the students. She began dating once she got to high school, but the boys were always the parentally acceptable sort, often from church. The part of Chicago that she lived in was a largely black area, so racism didn't affect her quite as much as it could have, but as she got older and became more aware of the world around her, Maria began to realize that things weren't as easy as she believed. She was outraged by the seemingly daily incidents of inequality and racism and was horrified by the newspaper accounts she read.

Throughout high school, Maria continued singing with her sisters, the only difference being that the music tended towards the r&b, soul, and even rock and roll that characterized her growing record collection as opposed to the gospel music the sisters had grown up with. By the time that Maria graduated from high school, her two sisters were living in an apartment in the city, both doing some of the few jobs that were acceptable to African Americans and singing a bit on the side. Although she was a smart enough girl, both a lack of money and a lack of desire prevented Maria from attending college, so instead she moved in with her sisters and got a job as a waitress. Her two sisters incorporated Maria into their singing act, and it was then that the singing began to take off. Although unknown by most of America, Lady Moon and the Night Mists were fairly well known around Chicago, and when offered a chance to go on tour with the Beatles, they jumped at the chance.
Anything else?: Anything we missed?

Okay, I get it. Now, give us a test run.
