A Scanner Darkly - 6/10 I was expecting way more of this film. A few big LOLs and Downey Jr. (perfect for Barris) represents. Beerfest - 6/10 I thought this was funny. Talladega Nights - 6/10 Couple funny scenes, pretty average. Ididocracy - 7/10 Really good film. Lilya 4-Ever - 7/10 A very good film but I have no desire to see this again. -------------------- I line his body in grease, set fire to him I tie his body in sheets, put the tyres to him Make him feel the Escalade Put his feet in the blades Flip your vehicle, split the windshield Wack your baby mama but I'll let the kid live And people say that I am a kid still Cuz the little nigga still ride on big wheels

The Queen - 6/10 Helen Mirren was an interesting choice but she plays the part amazingly. Perfume - 6/10 Creepy but I got carried away with it. El Labarinto del Fauno - 7/10 Brutal, frightening and disturbingly beautiful. You, Me and Dupree - 5.5/10 Funnier than I expected but I wouldn't watch it again. -------------------- God created man in His own image and ever since then man has been returning the favour.

Spoiled Turd Group: Moderator Posts: 7,722 Member No.: 23 Joined: 8-February 05	A Scanner Darkly - 5/10 Very very boring. Didn't hold my interest despite the gimmicky visual style. Talladega Nights - 5/10 Funny at times, but Will Ferrell is overly annoying. Perfume - 7.5/10 Brilliant visual style, but way way too creepy in general and the last 20 minutes were almost laughable. The Prestige - 8.5/10 Stunning. Superb performances from Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman - especially the latter. Good storyline, if slightly confusing. Excellent film. Casino Royale - 7/10 A pleasant surprise. A James Bond film that makes me like it. Good stuff. Daniel Craig was powerhouse. Borat - 6.5/10 Really funny, but also a really stupid film. Little Miss Sunshine - 7.5/10 Great entertainment. Kept me with it the whole time. Clerks II - 6.5/10 I actually enjoyed this more than the first film, but it loses points for going too far with the donkey. The History Boys - 7.5/10 Quality film, but a bit too heavy on the dialogue at times and the homosexual overtones were very disconcerting at the end. Not recent films but recently seen... The Proposition - 7/10 Very straightforward film, but well executed and a very distinct visual style. Good look. Kidulthood - 7/10 Good raw style. Superbly acted and some very solid editing. Zach Braff disappointed me..and ...and...no...just didn't like The Lake House- 1/10 Because i'm not a complete cynic... The Fountain- 7.5/10 I really liked how abstract this was and how each scene and twist to the plot were intricately connected... The soundtrack wins as well as the visually captivating scenes... Requiem for a Dream- 8/10 Just because socio-commentary films with twisted humor tickles my fancy. And Jared Leto is hot. -------------------- ...how a sure thing ends up just like this... Clockwork SILENCE only knows... Sweeping eggshells still at 3 A.M.
