vicki had an idea. because i commented that we need to bring everyone back to fallout, since the site is now S L O W.


SO.
the idea more or less goes like so:

there's a big tournament/contest/meeting/thingamajig that calls for people to gather around there. it can be a festival or something like that, and it'll probably be held in london--just because.
there'll be prizes, chance to interact with other characters, chances for battles! and chances for gang members to spy on others and for gang leaders to exchange information, create alliances, make enemies, whatever!

it won't be mandatory, this festival thing, but i just want people to actually get together. maybe a jumpstart for wttf.
y'know.
since things are now moving S L O W.

so... any ideas? opinions? suggestions?

No I knew that. I hate it when people do that to me on particurally bad days. O>O I get made fun of a lot.

But I like it. *nods* Especially sense most people jsut started this could make it nice and even out to for battle competitions and whatnot. X3

i...i can't think of any suggestions. D= maybe something will come to my brain after i get home today. but but, i has a question! what about the rule about thread concurrency? =O like, is this festival thing something that anyone can join? or is it only open to people who are not currently involved in threads?

i was thinking about that.
and i decided it would kind of go against the whole 'time' thing and allow anyone to join, whether they had an ongoing thread or not.
after the festival/thing is over, they can continue their original thread.
or roleplay in two places at once. o3o

I think it's a swell idea. We need some more characters to get involved with each other, so I think a festival thing will help a lot. Plus, it can allow for tasty subplots. <3 I'm all for it.

i just realized i used the term 'thread concurrency', which is a total ripoff from my IT course. /shot OHMAHGOD, it's eating mah brain! but yayy for the no time rule! 8D! that means more peoples and more fun~ <3

y'know what i'd be interested to try? "mock battles" between gang leaders and trainers. xD it doesn't have to be anything serious, it could even be how they win prizes or something. but i'm curious as to how a leader-trainer battle would work out. xD plus it would give for a chance to test out the system you guys have planned. ^^

other than that, there could be pokemon contests like in the games. =O beauty contests where people can flaunt their mooooves bby~ or if you want it to be more carnival-esque, there could be stalls where you can use pokemon to win prizes. like shoot the bullseye with your charmander's ember and win the giant stuffed pikachu doll.

for the gangs, maybe a subplot is in order? i mean, everyone's getting hung up about the tokyo mafia, why not use this as an opportunity to get the ball rolling. *3* we could deploy spies or try to kidnap someone to get information...it would totally cause conflict or alliances to be formed very quickly.

but i like the idea of mock battles.

like have a day where a contest is held but also have those game stalls.
and the prizes could range from useless pokedolls to evolution stones~

subplots!
they're kind of the main point of the festival thing.
for the gangs, anyway.
someone could have mailed out an invitation for all the gang members to meet and discuss at a certain somewhere at a certain time.
give them a reason to have to tolerate each other.
conflict + alliances are good. and if the leaders get on each others nerve for long enough, we can launch a WAR~
or somefink like that. .3.

i'm glad you all like it. it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. :D

I think some more cannons would be in order to have a full-out war, though quarrels = definitely awesome-sounding right now.

If this actually goes down, that would be awesome - especially if characters would be allowed to RP even if they are already occupied with their own threads. I've been itching to RP Abe - been stuck in my thread for a really long time~

I'd love to get this whole festival idea rolling soon; plus, we've had a while now to think over this. Anyway, I'm kind of leaning towards the festival being a possible Steel-attack place for Poison (we'll see what Hitsugi says :D) in the Beijing thread, so I'd really like to do it now. There's lots of potential for epic battles and stuff. x3 ~

Plus, trainers can go win cool stuff. Rhett needs some prizessss~

Advertising contest = oh yes. <333 I've been thinking about advertising on my own for a little while, but a contest for that would great. Prizes prizes prizes~ <3 -as you may have noticed, I love prizes and am very competitive-

and with those points you can get itemz?
and the more points, the better.

but if steel/poison were to clash, can we do so when steel gets like one more member? cause i think zhao ling would rather take on poison single handedly than have to watch gui mei and take them on. "no, mei mei, don't touch that-ATTACK! NO NOT YOU GUI MEI!"
