I am Lady Butterfree, the administrator of these forums and owner of The Cave of Dragonflies. You may also know me as just plain Butterfree, Dragonfree, or even as Antialiasis or Dragon's Heir. That doesn't matter, though; in here you should refer to me as Butterfree or Lady Butterfree. Not B-free, LB or any other short-hand!

But that's not the point.

I get ticked off very easily. At the old forums, it drove me crazy when people hadn't read the rules, not knowing that this or that wasn't allowed. So I ended up making a special system with the rules to ensure that everybody read them. First, I put (in gigantic font) a warning to all members at the top of every page that they would have to read the rules or they would get banned. The people who had read the rules were put on a list, and then once every month, the mods and I went through the member list, banning by username every member who had posted since the rules were made but not read the rules.

Now, when I got these new forums, I discovered that Invisionfree made it all much easier: I could require admin validation, meaning that I would have to approve of every account that was made; disable posting for validating members; and then tell people that in order to post, they would have to read the rules. This, ultimately, meant that nobody could post without reading the rules.

Therefore, you must go and read the rules in order to get yourself validated. The rules are located here. Read them well. Additionally, there is no validation e-mail - don't worry when you don't get one, because you aren't supposed to.
