Welcome to the Official Federation of Bounty Hunters. Well, not really...

Bounty hunters, here is a place for you to gather, to learn strategy, to learn where to find that elusive weapon, to take note of friends and enemies, or to simply chat.

Bounty Hunter Information

• The official gear for Bounty Hunters is the Nintendo DS game Metroid Prime Hunters.
• Bounty Hunters that do not possess a copy of Metroid Prime Hunters but participate in the Bounty Hunters RP are allowed to join.
• Occasionally, tournaments will be held over Wi-Fi. To participate, you must have accsess to Wi-Fi, and have at least other tournament members registered in your Friends roster somehow, weather through the Friend Code thread, or through this club.
• You may discuss anything related to Metroid Prime Hunters... You may even discuss things like how creatures live and your view on how the weapons work, if you wish.
• Please, this is a gathering for Bounty Hunters here in the Cave of Dragonflies... Please do not join if you simply like the Metriod series, and do not own the game.
• All skill levels are welcome... Like the motto of the forums, we welcome both the weak and the strong.

Bounty Hunter Terms

• Bounty Hunter- A warrior that travels the galaxy, who makes his/her living doing things like capturing runaway convicts. However, there are several types of Bounty Hunters, ranging from those who work mainly as assasins, to those who use it as an excuse to kill.
• Prime Hunter- A powerful Bounty Hunter. Prime Hunters have increased speed and defensive capabilities, and an Affinity for all of the weapons. However, they damage themselves constantly, and only restore health by scoring kills on foes. In the Federation, this term is used to describe one who has obtained numerous wins in tournaments and little contests here. Prime Hunter is the next class down from Gorea, as there can be several Prime Hunters.
• Federation Head- Term used to describe the founder of this club- Myself. The Federation Head can organize tournaments and small contests, set rules, accept members into the Federation, and increase the rank of members of the Federation.
• Commander- The next rank down from Federation Head. Officers can organize tournements and small contests, and accept members into the club.
• General- the next rank down from Commander. Generals can accept members into the Federation.
• Officer- The next rank down from General. Officers are members that are very active in the Federation.
• Soldier- The rank down from Officers. Soldiers are members that are moderately active in the Federation.
• Bounty Hunters- Any member of the Federation, anyone who owns Metroid Prime Hunters, or one of the selectable charecters in Metroid Prime Hunters. However, new members are always simply reffered to as Bounty Hunters. Their rank may increase, if deemed that they are active enough.
• Gorea- In the game, Gorea is... Well, that information is classified. Game spoilers and all, you know. However, a little hint is in what the Federation's Gorea class is... A Gorea is someone who is completly... Well, how to say it? Obnoxius. They completly disregard the rules, and the feelings of other Bounty Hunters. Goreas can not compete in Federation events or general talk. Members of the Federation may watch a Gorea, and if the Gorea is deemed to have become a better citizen, the title is removed.
• Competitions- Not really a term, but close enough. Competitions include tournements and small contests. Small contests are things like poetry or art competitions here in the Federation, while tournements are Wi-Fi Metroid Prime Hunters battles. Excat rules may differ, depending on who organized the event. I, for example, will most likely orgainize tournements using the Battle mode, in matches where the winner/winners moves/move on to the next round.

Joining the Federation
Joining the Federation is actually quite simple. Fill in the following form, and wait for approval. (Approval is either a post saying that you are in, or a simple edit of the Bounty Hunter Database. Check the Database first, if you don't see an approval post in a day or so, before fuming about not being accepted. Believe me- I will personally tell you, via PM, if you are not accepted.) Those items marked with stars are optional, and completly non-nessacary for approval.

Here is the form.

Name: (Only if you wish to be called something other than your forum name in the Federation. For instance, if you wish to be called Brutus, and your forum name is pikachurocks1337, then fill this in with Brutus.)
Registered Name: (Not your forum name- The name you will most likely use when on Wi-Fi, or the name that you are registered under on your DS. If you do not own MPH, but participate in the Bounty Hunters RP, then you may post the name you use there.)
*Preferred Hunter: (Quite simply, your favorite Bounty Hunter- Samus Aran, Kanden, Spire, Sylux, Trace, Weevil, or Noxus. Several can be listed, if you prefer. Please note- This is for the Hunters in the game only.)
*Weapon of Choice: (Your favorite of the usable weapons.)
*Preffered Tatic: (Do you go all out, completly disregarding strategy? Do you like to find a safe place, and snipe with the Imperialist or some other weapon? Is it too complicated for words? If you wish, explain your strategy. Some Bounty Hunters might preffer to keep their strategy secret, so that foes cannot forumulate one to counter their strategy, while others may find it so succsesful, that they must explain it so that foes know what's coming. It doesn't affect membership into the Federation, although it might affect your success in tournements. What? Can't the Federation Head make a joke?)
*Preffered Battle Style: (Not to be confussed with Preffered Strategy. This is simply, what is your favorite Versus Mode? Battle? Survival? Prime Hunter? There are seven, I believe, and this is just another completly optional thing. However, it might affect tournements. For instance, if a large majority of Bounty Hunters preffer Battle mode, then a majority of tournements might be in Battle Mode.)
*Home Territory: (Quite simply, your favorite battle arena.)

Now, here is an example, of what Nightmare's entry would be, if he were to enter.

*Preffered Hunter: Kanden.
*Weapon of Choice: Missiles.
*Preffered Tatic: It is a brutal, yet highly strategic strategy.
*Preffered Battle Style: Survival. (Of course, the other hunters don't...)
*Home Territory: Combat Hall- Nowhere to hide.

*Weapon of Choice: Power Beam, and Imperialist.
*Preffered Tatic: Largely depends on the charecter I am using, the arena, the foes, and the battle style. If I'm using Trace, for instance, I find a safe place to hide, and snipe, but go Triskelaton if I have to go across the arena, for ammo or something.
*Preffered Battle Style: Battle
*Home Territory: Headshot, and Harvestor.

I have a suggestion, why not make a RP of this? It would be very nice, with our own hunters and all, and I could uss Project: Rainbow's full potential :0

Anyway...

For any of you who somehow haven't noticed, I have created a Metroid Prime Hunters RPG under the name of Bounty Hunters. Anyone who joins this RP will be counted as a Bounty Hunter, and will then be able to join the Federation.

In other news, I have noticed that there are several new MPH wielding members out there.... What is the matter? Have you not noticed the link in my signature?
