Hi Stone & friends,
I met Stone many years ago when I spent a spring on Yonder's land. It's awful that you were pushed out of your home after the tremendous amount of work you did there. I hope you eventually get things resolved to your satisfaction.
I chatted online with you a few years ago, I can't remember if I was married yet, but now I've been married for 3 and a half years and we have 2 kids. California is too expensive and has other undesirable elements, so we are moving to Arkansas soon. We hope to buy a place with a bit of land and do some gardening, and have sheep and chickens, and some fruit and nut trees.
If all goes well, we'll be getting a garden ready next spring. I have next to no gardening experience (watching you is probably the most gardening I've ever done) so I have lots to learn. I hope you won't mind if I ask some questions of you as they come up.
I read a book with a method that appealed to me, "Square Foot Gardening." I like the idea of starting with a very small plot, 4' x 4', and growing a lot of variety within it, just to start learning and so I don't get too ambitious and plant more than I can tend.
