That particular section is written entirely in character, including news that all of the characters on the board will be aware of. Whether the news turns into part of a character's conversation, or your character decides to do something because of the news that they find out after reading the Observer, everyone is affected.

Every few weeks, the staff here will write a new 'issue'. Your character's names may appear in the paper too, so I would read it carefully! From time to time, it may also claim that a certain person is a vampire or a werewolf - it isn't necessarily true, but because they read it in the newspaper, the vast majority of people should believe it.

Why did we decide to have a newspaper on the board? This allows us to help shift the plot along, as well as cause controversy between characters. As Berryn Falls is a smallish town, the paper will often also include what may be tiny plot points, such as meetings between people or 'overheard' conversations. We will be reading over threads and randomly picking parts of your plotting to be included in the next 'issue'.

Bear in mind, your character should always keep up as far as the newspaper is concerned, and so should you! If you have any ideas for stories to go in the paper, just PM me or Sparkle. If your character wants to make an annoucement, the best place would be in the paper, too!
