I have just been to Ypres and taken 89 photos. A disk containing all these photos will soon be on sale for £3 (not including p+p if needed), with 50% of all profits going to the Commonwealth War Graves Commision.

Yeah, border of Belgium and France. It was a salient in the Western Front (a bulge, meaning teh Allies were surrounded on 3 sides). Home of 4 battles the 3rd being Passchendaele.

I went to the Somme last yea.. that was good. Went to the Thiepval Memorail (Not sure on the spelling... cant spell to save my life)... its huge and covered with the names of British soldies never found... ie not proved dead.
