Is already a member, or was of this board.

And, I'm not positive, but also a reseller like myself.

I don't know about the shilling of this possible seller you mentioned in
your OP.
One slight difference in their contact info and Ebay will not catch it.

I have often stated, on another board, that ebay needs to verify
these new IDs before they let them sign up as so many NARUed
ones are allowed back in with in minutes of losting their IDs.
It's pathetic.

Baring that since we don't know if it was shilling, there is nothing
wrong with reselling an item.

I made lots of money off Ebay in the days of Ebay, that is, when it
was good to go. Still do on occasion depending on the item.
I wouldn't want to be trapped with RB stuff today buying wise unless
it was the deal of the century but if I saw an opportunity, I'll bid/buy it.

oh my gosh I just had to register when I saw this. I bought a Tickled Pink from this smokinhotbooty person, without boots. I also saw in shb's feedback that they BOUGHT a Tickled Pink WITH boots. It makes me wonder, did she buy one with boots and sell her old one without, or did she buy her, take the boots off, and sell her again? Don't worry though, I'm giving her a good home. smile.gif

Did you leave her feedback? how long ago did you buy it from her? Did you see what she paid for it and what you paid for it? Good way to tell if she did do that. I mean theres nothing wrong with buying and reselling, only if you self snipe your auction when it isn't going the way you want it too!

I wasn't really complaining about it or anything, I just think taking the boots away and re-selling that way is a rather cheap thing to do. It's perfectly within the seller's rights though. But I think what the topic starter talked about shb doing was probably shilling. not completely sure though.

ya understand! Just used to be a full time seller years ago on ebay and thats what actually brought me here many years ago, the members hated me cuz i bought and resold on ebay, But what they didn't realize was i was also buying for my children, i didn't resell all of it (until now they are outgrowing them) It was so many years ago and i was a stay at home mom and had found a way to make money on ebay..........blah blah blah anyways............ya hopefully now that she knows she's kinda busted, she/he will stop sniping her own auctions just for profit. I think its ok if you follow the rules of ebay! Except the making money in shipping that SO many sellers do! I just don't agree with it and don't think it should be allowed. Handling is ok, and normal, but selling an item for super cheap and then padding the shipping is just wrong to me! Ok i feel better now hehe
anyways glad you got your tickled pink though! and best of luck in your collecting!

rainbowsmile.gif Um...I'm not a reseller, I am a collector. I don't really like to sell my RBs, only my extras. And thank you *once*upon*a*dragonfly for notifying me about the seller. Glad I didn't bid more, it did look very suspicious to me, oh well dry.gif
