Title: Is Rainbow Brite a super hero?

Charles Xavier - January 23, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, X-men, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Spider-man, Supergirl, Teen Titans, Thor, Ghost Rider, Green Lantern, the Incredible Hulk, Swamp Thing, Daredevil, Electra, Dr. Strange, Starman, Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, Plastic Man, the Flash, She-Hulk, Aquaman, the Sub-Mariner...the list goes on and on.

But the real question is: does RB fit into the super hero category? Of course, she isn't the type who'd go flying round in a cape with a cheering crowd, bashing up criminals. Yet she does hold the solemn duty of keeping the world in perfect balance (in this case, bringing happiness/colors to the world and so forth).

On a side note, how would you feel about DC or Marvel (or any other comic book company) envisioning RB as a super heroine?

She can be considered a Super hero because of her magical Color Belt. Without the ability to have the power of the rainbow, she would not be one.

even without the belt rainbow is still a super hero. she embodies the essence of child like wonder and the hope of the future.
