Title: Which Spelling of Moonglo to go by?
Description: a poll ^-^

I noticed that the toy from Germany has it spelt Moonglow but the on the back of the TV episode case it is spelt Moonglo. I say it is Moonglo because:
- It is like Brite instead of Bright and Lite instead of Light
- The doll is based off the character from the television show. Would probably have been spelt from inthe character bio pages even before doll was in production.
- Was not made in North Amercia, even the french box of RB has the wrong spelling of RB than the television show. (other countries have odd names)
-Was probably looked up for the literal meaning and Moonglo isn't in the dictionary.
- If we are to say that the spelling on a toy box is true than, Tickled Pink must be Sunriser's owner.
Apparently the majority of us fans spell it Moonglow. That to be is like saying it is Rainbow Bright which makes the name original.

It's Sandra Silbermond. I'll look at my photos of the MIB one I used to own and see how they spelled it on the box in English. I will report my findings later.

I know about it the box saying Moonglow as in the argument.
People who choose Moonglow tell me why you think that is the proper name other than a German Doll having that spelling.

She wasn't just a German doll. She was named in English, French, German, and Italian on the origiinal box. Those are the names that Mattel gave her on release. Mattel did not release the videos.

The doll is based off the Hallmark creation and those dolls (Stormy and the other ones) are based off the animation characters. In the initial creating of charcters they have character design sheets which will include the spelling of the name. Which is shownon teh back of the VHS video.
Would you base facts on the toy box? Like how Sunriser is Tickled Pink's horse? There is no evidence it was just the graphic designer or some person in the company adding that to the box.
The different languages have no merit since if you look up the word you will not find the glo spelling since it is not a real word. In making it for other languages changing the spelling is done so (MLP as an example some words are not the same in another language). Anyway other than the Moonglo doll box what other edivence can be used to support this choice of spelling?

I used to list Moonglow as Moonglo but since the majority states Moonglow, I just stick with that
I do like Moonglo better. The spelling makes her stand out as unique
