just wondering if the kitty brite that was around some time ago (the one that was making customs) ever came back around after her surgery, i've been gone for some time from the forums but i have some unsettled business with her that i'd like to deal with, someone let me know if shes' around ..or maybe even how to get ahold of her? thanks!

She's not on the boards anymore... I myself haven't heard from her in a while. I think she's had a lot of health problems lately.

I know that she is working now and that they keep finding new things that are wrong with her because of what some doctors did to her in the past, but all the same. I have a pretty full schedule but I still make time for this and the other boards that I'm on and for my email friends. I'd love to hear from her again, but it's not my choice.

k well thanks for the info, looks like i'm just out some money and some dolls, thats a little annoying. i had problems with her in the past and then she dissapeared completely with over 100 dollars of mine and a couple of dolls she was supposed to customize, with no notice, no information, no nothing, just gone. yeah. i'd say i'm pretty annoyed by this. :(

I loved kittybrite, but she stopped emailing me/messaging me or answering my emails. I think she probably ran out of time/desire to finish the custom dolls she was making for me, too.

I'm still hoping she'll pop back up. I know she takes forever sometimes to get something done. Although she should know by now that she could just tell me she didn't have time for a while, and we'd still be friends :( Needless to say, I'm a little hurt and dissappointed at her silence, especially after how I've stuck by her for so long and considered her a friend. :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: I really don't understand, she really has a good heart, I don't know what's going on.

I feel the same way, G-Cat and I'm in the same boat with the both of you. I'm quite annoyed with how this has turned out and I may just wake her up in the middle of the night her time zone to tell her so. I feel sorry for her multiple health, family, and relationship problems and all the rest, but on the other hand, she is not an invalid. She coud crank out a few emails if she wanted to and let her friends know what's going on.

I haven't seen her around either.

I hope everything is okay with her.

I don't believe in sending anyone money for something that isn't made yet.
Maybe for the materials I guess, but not the finished product. Shoot, they can
give me a list and I'll buy the materials even then send them.

Either way though, it may be something beyond anything we understand or, it might be she just got way in over her head and is too embarased to come back.

Her user ID is still here. Her own board, the RB Traders Forum, is still up but abandoned. No one has posted on there in a while. I check it daily.

yeah.. you're right it was stupid to pay in advance, but she had such a great track record and everyone on the boards was promoting her at the time, she was going through some stuff and i figured it was best to send the money up front, so that it didn't look, from my end, like i was going to pull out and not pay.. it back fired and i'm out money,

i hope she's alright i wouldn't wish anything bad on her, but i also hope she comes back and everything is resolved with everyone :)

The doll I paid for was ready to go from her stock, so she said, and I had a potential order for a second one for her. which I told her about but didn't pay for. My box sat in the trunk of her father's car for over two months waiting to be taken to the post office. Then it and some others were put in her apt., waiting for a friend to mail them, but that was maybe six weeks ago and I haven't heard from her since or received the boxes as she said there were more than one. I'm about ready to list her as a bad trader on her own board, I'm so unhappy.

I finally got a mail from her today. She said that she will mail my stuff this week. I hope it will be the same for everyone else in this situation.

i hope that she does send you your things 13RR.. i hope you mentioned something to her abuot sending along the rest of our things as well.

as for posting her as a bad bidder on her own forums. don't bother, i think you're the only one that checks it :P
better bet would be to post it here, which we already have.

i hope the whole thing is resolved for everyone involved, including ofcourse myself. and i hope that she comes back and explains herself and also lets us kno whow she;s doing

She said that she had been through some very hard tlmes recently and was still recovering. More health and other problems. I hope she gets around to getting everyone their stuff in the very near future.

I'm hoping for the best at this point. I hope she doesn't let me down.

My first box arrived today. It contained two 03 MIB Sprites, Romeo and Twink, which I did not order. She explained that this was to make up for the trouble she caused. As it turned out, Twink is about the last thing I need to complete my 03 collection, so no complaints there. I will let everyone know when the rest arrives.

Well I havn't talked to her in a few weeks. I know she has been working for an anime company and has mentioned a bunch of boxes she was going to mail. but i still haven't gotten mine and I'm only a few states away from her. I just hope everything worked out and the friend actually sent the items and there not just sitting in the trunk again. I get to talk to her every once in a while when i see her on aim. But now that i have a full time job it isn't that often. I'm just wishing my stormy will make it her soon and in one piece (stupid usps...) as it is the only doll i am missing at the moment. I'll give ya'll an update when i here from her though... :)

Well, if you used a credit card, you might still be eligible. You'll need to call your card company and see what their time frame is. Some are only 3 months, some 6 and some go up to a year.

You can do a charge back and get your money back through them

Might be worth a try is there is a lot of $$$'s involved

Well im a little sad to learn KittyBright is no longer on the boards, and im even more sadened to learn she hasent been well. However Im glad to know she still allright and im allso glad to know shes working for an anime company how exciteing.

Oh she loves working for that company. The last time i talked to her was a while back but she was enjoying the cahnge of pace.
She said its better than just hanging around the house with nothing but the same old stuff to do. :) I have to agree. routines do get boring..

Yeah, it just that I love anime (and basicly everything else japanese but mostly anime and video games.) So i can see why she would like that job if she is into the same things.

Im happy for her if only all of us could find work doing something we like or love. What could be better then wakeing up in the morning and saying "awsome I get to go to work today" =P

Yay!!! I got to talk to amanda today!! She's in ok helth and having a difficult time with her new boss. he treats her like a secretary and that is not her job. He doesn't know how to use the email or the post office i guess because he keeps sending stuff to amanda to send to other people. Any who. she sent out a bunch of boxes so they should all get where they are needed soon. Found out she had sent mine to my school addy so i have to wait till school starts to get my box.

I hope Amanda didn't forget about me now that she's busy. I do feel that she has her heart in the right place, she just has a difficult time with priorities maybe

She really does have a bad short term memory due to the stroke. There is probably every thing everybody here ordered sitting in their boxes ready to go. She is sending them as she comes across them. She has an assistant now that is helping her with her job. She is also doing all of the mailings. Amanda is paying her from her salary so everything should get done here pretty soon. Tell you what. If everyone that ordered something can give me their address and maybe what they ordered, I can give it to amanda the next time i talk to her. It would help make sure everything got to the right place. Just send it to me through the PM's thingy and I'll let her know the very next time we bump into each other on AIM. :)

Well. I got my comforter and my pj set. Just hoping that my other box made it to school. I hope they didn't mess with it at the post office!! I do not like USPS!!

a few days ago she said she sent my box, but it came back because it didn't have a postal code on it.

so hopefully it went back out... I know that she has to get someone to take it to the post office for her,

Yeah. I wish our campus post office was open on saturday. I could have gotten my box. I know it is there because of the notice i received in my P.O. box but i can't get my hands on it!!!

Hey, this message is a lot harder than it looks. I´m typing on a German keyboard and a lot of the charachters are in different places compared to an American/British or a Belgian one. Had a hard time to find the "Z" a moment ago.
