My friend just joined a couple weeks ago, but she hasn't been able to post yet! Can someone help us out, here?! :blink:

Did she validate her membership? Normally after she joined, the board sends her a mail to validate with. She has to read it and follow the directions, usually click on a link in the mail. If you know her screen name on here you can look it up and see her status.Click on All Time Top Ten Posters at the bottom right of the main menu. Then click on last. That takes you to all members with zero posts. Go back through the list of all zero postres by paging backwards until you find her or else find the folks with one post. You can also search her name from the first page of the top ten. It's possible the email address she gave was incorrect or had a typo in it so the validation letter was not sent to her. I just saw four or five validating members form September, so she might be one of those. Do you have her screen name?

Her user name is Angel of Death, I believe (it might be speeled a little differently!)

she will need to validate.... if she needs the validation email sent to her again there is a spot to do that on the login page. she might want to double check to make sure the validation email wasn't put in her junk folder.

Well, the admin would have to delete the old account.

Otherwise just start a new account and pick a different name. And this time, use the email verification as soon as you're done submitting the new account.

You can still create the new account. Don't even wait for the other one to get deleted.

I'm just thinking the moderators might not be able to fix this and it would be up to the senior admin and she's not online too often. It could be a long wait. Best bet is setting up the new account.
