Title: About Digemon!
Description: If anyone still remembers!!

Lady Brite - May 11, 2005 09:44 PM (GMT)
I've always loved Digemon, so I had to ask: Who was your favorite digedestined/digemon? Now, if you don't mind me saying, I think that the 1st season was the best. But I tryed to include everyone fron every season. My favorite has always been Kari and Gotomon because they both had the different stories, they baland out each others personalities, and they always seemed to understand each other!!! What about you guys?

Lady Brite - May 11, 2005 09:45 PM (GMT)
Sorry guys, I messed up!! I'll try again later!!!

I think I've fixed it for you, hope you don't mind (and I hope I've got it right)

Anway I've chosen TK/Patamon (to be honest I can only remember 3 of them  ) Isn't Patamon the one that turns into Angelmon or something?

I have favorites from each season. I can't remember all of them righ off the top of my head. Lately, I've been watching fansubs of Digimon Savers. That's the newest series. It's worth checking out.

Digimon 01 was by the far the greatest. Halfway through 02, it seriously went downhill. I can appreciate more focus on Ken et al, but it left little room for development on other characters. Tamers was an improvement (Ruki's my fav). Frontier was inexplicably dull...don't know much anymore about it anymore, don't care. <_<

Buddy Blue - October 11, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
I loved Digimon Tamers and Digimon Season 01 also.
Digimon Season 02 was dull in my mind while Frontiers was somewhat cool because of the fact that you can acutally turn into a Digimon.

A few spelling corrections, just because I have to make them: "Digimon", "Tai", "Agumon", "Biyomon", "Gatomon", "Tentomon", "Veemon", and "Wormmon."

As for the stuff you didn't get at all, Joe's Digimon was actually Gomamon; Ikkakumon was Gomamon's Champion form. Yolei's Digimon was Hawkmon; Poromon was Hawkmon's baby form. And Cody's Digimon was Armadillomon, whereas Upamon was also Armadillomon's baby form. Takato's Digimon was Guilmon. Rika's was Renamon.

I always loved Digimon. Awesome show, especially the first season. And Sora was my favorite character from the beginning. She was just so cute. ^^

I usually make it a point to stay away from all cartoons that end in "mon" :P

Despite the dub being a total reck the plot and characters were all quite interesting. It is nothing like pokemon despite the names they stand for different things.

Season 3 had different script writers from other animations which was quite awesome and complex.

I watched the first episode when it originally aired. Wasn't impressed. The battle sequence at the end looked like a monster fight, but it FELT like the original Power Rangers. And the so-called 'digital world' didn't look digital at all ;) It was interesting that there was more to the story than just "kids who collect monsters to have them fight each other", but what I got to see still felt like a cheap excuse to try and clone the success of Pokemon.
