Total Number Of Items In Main List?, Anyone finished the list?

Hello all,
I have a question. Has anyone finished the game? and if so, how many total items did you have in the main list in your catalog? I have 596 items (not counting gyroids,wallpaper,flooring,songs,handheld items,stationary,and clothing).
If I don't have an action replay device, and I even complete the game? I am so close.....I have EVERYTHING in the game except the NES games that can't be unlocked without action replay. After all of my work finishing the museum and collecting everything from Wendell, Sahara, Gracie, Jingle, Harvest, Tortimore, Redd, and Nook, I am still not done according to the main item list. What happens in the game after I DO finish the list? Does it unlock more features in the game? or do you just get a "congrats" from Nook and that's about it? Any help you all can offer would be greatly appreciated.

There are 601 items in the main list. This does not include the NES games that you cannot get without the Action Replay.

When you get every item your cataloge.....*blows trumpets*.....nothing happens. No congrats, no new features, no nothing. Well except for the personal satisfaction that you did it.

Anyway, there is an item check list here. Somewhere in there you'll find your missing items.

Thank you so much for your help. I will go through the link you provided and see what I overlooked. I can't believe that nothing cool happens after the game. I think programmers should start creating cool "after" features that open up when you complete the regular game. And yes, I guess I do get personal satisfaction at completing the task at hand. I still love this game anyway. Now that I'm almost done with this town, it's time to build another. Whoo Hoo!!!!

One thing to note is that the checklist has useable items, shirts, etc. that you can get with the codes but they will not show up in your cataloge. Not sure why this is, but it is.

Hey, Running Man! Good luck on collecting all the items on the list. I could not have finished my list without the PH codes. The great joy in AC after completing the list of items, is that life goes on and on and on.....
