I've uploaded the CM to this series at program thread.
Here are the screencaps.

I'm looking forward to this because recently, Lee Jun Ki's Time Between Dog and Wolf really made wave in Korea and he's a Korean agent undercover in a mafia and the story was even better than Rondo and Lee Jun Ki's acting has greatly expanded. We didn't miss a single moment of his expressions. Indeed, Lee Jun Ki would be the future wave of solid actors in Korea.
Somehow, by coincidence, Junichi is now releasing this work also about security work and it is going to be compared by avid Korean and Japanese fans again as Fly Boy Fly did.
tommy815 - September 19, 2007 05:50 AM (GMT)
I'll put the translation of SP articles here
The long-awaited project by the script of Kazuki Kaneshiro, a sworn friend of him.And now the correct drama SP has gone active. Putting a gun up while taken photographs, Okada has a model gun in his hand and says, "This is not the same one I use in the play." and incessantly operating.
"This is my first time to play the part who has a gun. Ah, I've been shot before. (laugh) I've waited for this project for a long time, and I feel I've just moved in finally."
The script writer Kazuki Kaneshiro and he have kept in touch since Okada played in FDF, and he's put much confidence in him.
"I heard from Kaneshiro san, 'I want to make something that we haven't ever had.' He's genius and I enjoy his writing, also I love it. So I was looking forward to it. Very 'deep' scripts. This is what 'we show by our actions.' To scripts, purely, I'd like to show the story and the character by actions and relations.""What I feel enjoyable" a surge for starting. The part Okada plays is, SP Inoue who guards VIPs concerned with the government. The five senses of him are extraordinarily keen and also he has a special power. He uses it and defies the terrorists. In this drama, we'll be able to see speedy and hard actions.
"I've got myself into shape for this action drama. This part is, usually he wants to find a life partner and repeats blind dates, but he never succeeds because of his special power." (laugh)
Then, asked him about SP.
"Is this for Japan? or for America?"
he asked back. He seems to have forced knowledge for SP into his head not to allow us to ask silly questions.
"I want to make something manly that we haven't had lately. I'm looking forward to how people accept and see what I'm interested in. And, I can work with Kaneshiro san again, the producer is the man who Kaneshiro san trusts, and Tsutsumi san I costared with in FDF. 'Let's make something interesting' we said, then got started this project and gathered up. I'm happy to join this kind of invention. I'm sure this must be interesting."
Checking the magazine and the movement of the hammer, "I want to have one I use in this drama soon." he says.
The same with him, we feel excited and our hearts beating fast, we look forward to the broadcast.Exclusive: Please do not repost this translation outside of this forum.
kimurafan - September 20, 2007 03:16 AM (GMT)
Thank you, tommy, for another great translation. He seems totally enthusiastic about this new project.
All, hard actions and fast! Gosh, I'm really looking forward to this. And a very manly Junichi???? hahaha... :love2: :love2: :love2: :love2: I haven't seen that before either. :drooling: :drooling: :drooling:

TV LIFE No.21

Maybe I should have posted the photo section, but this is SP article so that I want to share this here
Junichi's JUMP!!! beautiful :love2:
Sandra - September 26, 2007 05:02 PM (GMT)
This is the perfect place for it tommy. Thank you. Haha...he looked intense in the first photo on the top towards the middle.
I think even though he has a mattress underneath, he could really still hurt himself falling down. Poor ribs.
hidamari - September 27, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
Does anybody know if there'll be a special episode for this drama before it goes on air (like what they did for Sushi Ouji, Marathon)?
Couldn't find any info on that at Fuji TV site.. or they only release the info closer to the actual date?
tommy815 - September 28, 2007 04:40 AM (GMT)
hidamari

they only release the info closer to the actual date?
I think so for now :(
Just because it's already introduced though, the drama will start in November.
Now in Japan, it's kind of a rush for coming dramas for this fall, so TV stations may
take priority over the ones that start in October ;)
I'll check the updates carefully and will let you know if I get some infos :love2:
tommy815 - October 19, 2007 03:12 AM (GMT)
hidamari - October 19, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
uwaa... this looks so interesting! can't wait for it to start! thanks, tommy :D
tommy815 - October 19, 2007 09:15 AM (GMT)
Yeah hidamari  we just can't wait Nov. 3 ;)
So you guys go check the SP website often?
Junichi's interviews are updated  and his picture finally added :love2:
http://www.fujitv.co.jp/sp/index.html
kimurafan - October 19, 2007 03:50 PM (GMT)
tommy, when you have time after you come back from the concert, could you pls briefly summarize what Junichi said.
So far I only understood that he started training one year ago to bulk up according to the producer's wish and people around him is wondering if he had went too far???
Did he say that the producer has require this character to exercise his mental muscles and therfore it becomes his character and Junichi thinks it's directly proportional to physical muscles?
Something about his studying more of such films and the shooting...
tommy815 - October 21, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)

Okay Sandra, I'll summarize his interviews later
nezagie - October 23, 2007 07:04 AM (GMT)
Nice poster you got there :squint:
Can't wait for interview summary but take ur time tommy

Yeah, that's true!
Everyone around him has said 'You've done too much!!' :laughing1:
QUOTE
Did he say that the producer has require this character to exercise his mental muscles and therfore it becomes his character and Junichi thinks it's directly proportional to physical muscles?
Yep, but he's trying to do so consciously with his own ideas, and not only obeys it but makes a suggestion how he wants to move.
He always has some bruises on his body while shooting.
But he says his body is okay no matter how hard he get a blow :squint: Just because he's been trained like an athlete and his trainer said 'You are the No.1 guy in the show biz' he laughs.
About his studying;
He had gathered data and videos about SP, but the writer Kazuki Kaneshiro was the best teacher for him.
Junichi learned the difference between SP in Japan and America from him.
A comic that Junichi and Kaneshiro san both read, there was a scene about a SP stopped a girl who tried to come in a fight. He used only his eyes to stop her.
When Kaneshiro san saw a SP in the street for real, his eyes really glared so that 'It's possible to stop people only with eyes!' he said.
Sandra - October 23, 2007 06:53 PM (GMT)
Thank you, tommy, for the summary. So good to understand everything there is about his preparation for this drama.
13 more days to go and we would get to see him in a drama again!!!!!! Actually, seriously, Junichi should be in international movies one day. I can't wait for the day I could see him on US screens! I hope international filmmakers will take notice of him one day!
tommy815 - October 30, 2007 07:08 AM (GMT)
V6's new single 'way of life' will be the theme song for SP
Yesterday the press confference was held in Tokyo :squint:
jaezreen - October 30, 2007 08:25 AM (GMT)
Woohoo!
There were rumors last season that Junichi had 2 contracts for this season.
Fans speculated that he'll go for FujiTV's contract (which we now know as SP)
because V6 has confirmed to sing the drama's theme song.
This confirms the rumor.
Anybody know when the single will be released?[I]

The title 'way of life' is aptly suited to the drama... now this gets me interested in the lyrics... >_< can't wait for it to broadcast.

3 more days to start!!!

Can't wait, can't wait!! No more!! :love1:
Hi, jaezreen :love4:
I don't know when the single will be released yet, no updates for now :squint:
I want to listen to it very soon!!
nezagie
Me neither, can't wait! can't wait!! haha.
But that day SP is going to be aired, because of the world volleyball cup, SP may be late to be broadcasted :faint:
So I have to sit up late at night...no no, I have to wake up so early next morning :hair: :hair:
kimurafan - October 31, 2007 02:56 PM (GMT)
Hi, jaezreen, good to see you come back.
I think usually, they sell the single around the 8th episode of the drama. That's what they did for Koichi's Sushi Ouji.
Thanks for the photos, tommy. A few more days now. I wonder if the subbers would be as fast as they do for the Yukan Club, like the next day. Ah....very excited!!!
tommy, you could always record it!

I really love that thing Okada does with his eyebrow, where he raises one and gives us that inquiring look <3 When he did it in the Voyager PV I had to go back and rewatch XD The first episode was a little slower than I expected but I still loved it, and seeing him in a drama again was amazing. I like how they paid attention to the fight scenes, and eventhough I was completely confused half the time I still managed to enjoy the episode. I'm sure that they'll add in some more emotional moments and a deeper subplot considering the flashbacks and the ending. I really liked that ending scene <33 and have I mentioned that I loved all the closeups :333
I thought he looked alot younger, and his attitude and character really show it. I loved the part where he was poking at the statue XD I thought he looked adorable here.. the haircut really did wonders :3

and thankyou for the scans Sandra :3
Sandra - November 4, 2007 09:53 PM (GMT)
Ah, yes, inutweak. That is one thing I forgotten to touch on. His aikido and judo skills looked impressive! And the stunts he had to do flying off and sliding off cars is impressive. The action scenes are good. Did you see how brawny he was!
Someone pls do a screencap of his muscles without the shirt on!
Btw, why is it a midnight drama? Why midnight? Why do older boys get pushed back into such late hours for their dramas?
inutweak - November 4, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
He really buffed up alot! lol I was anticipating him taking off the jacket :3 too bad there were always people in the way so screencapping it from up close was hard to do D: But wow, Okada really looks great (though we all already knew that :3)

I love the 'tch' sound the actress makes :3
I'm not sure about the midnight drama thing. I dont think its really them pushing them back so much as maybe the content.. I'm not sure. But I know alot of people were anticipating so I'm sure its gonna do great!
keladry - November 5, 2007 01:52 AM (GMT)
The 1st episode of [S.P.] bagged an impressive 14.5% in ratings.
This is a very very good number for that time slot and it was
even pushed back half an hour because of volleyball this week.
I would say, it's comparable to a 20%+ rating for
a primetime drama that airs at 9 or 10 pm.
Congratulations to the [S.P.] team!
Sandra, the slot that [S.P.] occupies, 11 pm on Saturdays on CX
is a new renzoku drama time slot. FujiTV opened up this new
slot just this spring with [Liar Game] and [LIFE] followed in summer.
Per my understanding, FujiTV has always been the top dog in terms
of the drama world among the 4 main stations. So it's actually a
great thing that Junichi signed onto this slot. Plus the drama is helmed
by a reputable director with widely recognized classics to his credit,
a talented writer, a seasoned crew, and a capable cast.
And from what Junichi's said, this drama has been in the works for
at least a couple of years; he even started physical training over a
year ago.

This is impressive indeed keladry and I am glad that this drama is a production of FujiTV. Can't wait for the 2nd Episode to broadcast this coming Sat. Am looking forward to the development of this drama. :squint:

Tommy did mentioned that Junichi has gone through training secretly for the past year and I read off some magazines that he mentioned he has gain weight for this drama too. We can see from the result of his training with all these screencaps :love4: :love4: :love4:

I just watched SP too. :squint: I kind of wished there were subs, but I thought the drama wasn't too hard to understand. Nothing awfully too special, if you're looking for an outstanding plot or something... but I like the lighthearted-ness. :] I really liked the action and of course, Okada, as I'm sure everyone here already pointed out. LOL. In terms of character, I was actually hoping of a more outgoing and light Tsutsumi Shinichi. He's always seem to be stuck in a more "serious" role; don't get me wrong, he's really good at doing what he does... it's just that there should be more variety. =/ Nonetheless, I like the relationship between Okada & Tsutsumi's character. =)
Despite all the goodness... the thing that REALLY caught me was V6's Way of Life. IT'S A GOOD SONG. :love4:
