Need tips/help with my Slaanesh Beastmen, Slaanesh got me by the balls

Hello all!


I'm in the works of doing something with all the models I have laying around, some still on their sprues and some assembled but without paint.
Now, I was thinking of giving them a theme and realized that I wanted to give them a Slaanesh feel. So I have a few things to work out and I need the Herdstones help:

- Color on the skin/fur. I'm leaning towards brownish colors even though some might suggest white. But I still want to keep them feral and animalistic so I think I'll go with brown.
- Uniform colors. Something to tie 'em all together. Pink/purple/white for a Slaaneshy-feel? Won't that take away some of the credibility of the raw, natural feel I still want my Beastmen to have? I basically want them to be a group of warrior-rapists, I don't think a warrior-rapist dresses in pink but it might look cool.
- Slaanesh-inspired things. I'm going to have a giant with bdsm-gear (saw a great picture somewhere on coolminiornot) and some Gors and a Minotaur boinking some Daemonettes. But more tips would help. I could give some Gors some red lips á la lipstick and make the Minotaur's nipples hard with some greenstuff.. hmm..

And, if anyone know any cool pictures of Slaanesh themed Beastmen or similar armies or any kind of sexual oriented models/themes please link.

I'd say that's the hardest of all chaos cults to convert beastmen to. I've seen a few but none that are outstanding IMO.
I'd say purple armour/rags would look great along with a pale skin tone.
Any pincers would probably fit in well also?

Back in the day, my highschool math teacher once told me that it takes a real man to pull off pink. You need balls to go round wearing bright pink - so the beastmen should look all the more badass for it.

An alternative would be to paint their clothing black and give it a gloss varnish, to look like leather/PVC bondage gear. I think you could also make some studded dog-collars pretty easily from greenstuff and toothpick ends or whatever. I think they would look sweet on a unit of bestigors.

Maybe it's my age catching up to me finally, but the theme you're describing doesn't exactly tickle my fancy (ha!). I don't know if "warrior-rapist" is a theme that needs to be seen more on the gaming boards.

Thanks all for the tips. I think I'm going to have to try to paint up a couple of models to see what I like the most. I like the lack/leather idea and the dog collar idea I totally missed, so thanks for that.

All leather strapping should be painted in black. With extreme highlighting to white. With gloss varnish.

When I saw the thread title I was going to suggest gold armour, but seeing as you're going for the depraved (rather than magnificent) look, perhaps that won't work as good

Edit: oh and instead of a herdstone you'd need a blingstone!

And pale skin, or even white will most likely look better with latex than brown

Get a unit of nungors in chains, a big block of lesbigors, a breastlord, a great bra shaman and a battle phallus bearer and you have a nice start to your force...

With all due respect, I feel like you should tone down your theme a bit. Yes, everyone knows what slannesh is really all about, and at the end of the day, its your army and resources. But a day might come where you wanna play them in a tournament that also has a younger crowd. An inappropriate army like that may get you outcasted at said event. Not to mention if there are girls roaming about. Personally it sounds to me more, "creepy geek theme" than awesome, but hey To each their own. I'm really not trying to troll, even if its coming off that way. I'm sorry in advance.

Purple, pink, orange, etc armour. Maybe have some dancing girls as slaves. I'm a huge Khorne and Tzeentch fan (bipolar, I know) so I don't really know.

I understand your worries Typhoon000. I have been to one tournament thus far and it had 3 women and one kid out of 34 people, but the men could certainly be offended as well so I see your pov clearly. However, in that case I can skip to bring the Giant and maybe find some alternative unit fillers. That should bring the overall tone down enough. Otherwise I will just have to bring another army to the tournaments. But one can hope that people enjoy the army for the creative concept and not bash on it for its display of alternative ways to get ones rocks off. And I think I can avoid the creepy stamp since don't look like a posterboy wargamer (sterotyping freely here).

That Daemonettes and spacemarine idea seems cool. Nice.

Oh, and if anyone can find anything that can suit the theme let me know. For example the flagallant kit with their chains, wooden shamethingy (the one you put the hands and head in) and so forth. I got a whip from the Orc Chariot kit but I think its a bit big and bulky.
And any ideas for more things to strap on (no pun intended) the giant then feel free to share your ideas. I got his head pretty much sorted and he is going to have marks from a whip all over his back and maybe a chain between the chipstuttar (nipples). But tips for items to have around his waist, weapon and whatnot would be great.

Oh, and keep it clean. Any too unsubtle ideas I suggest you PM to me. But I still want the army to be fieldable, not the level of "Im totally ok to display this to my grandparents" but at least "ops someones better part just walked in, time to save it with a glorious smirk". Yo dig?

I think there are better ways to show Slaanesh than overt sexuality. You could us ethe slave girls in unit fillers. You could do Ungors torturing slaves. Things like that. Mutations, then a pale paint scheme with black leather. Slaanesh is the god of excesses, not just deviant sex.
