Minotaur Group: Members Posts: 236 Member No.: 4,983 Joined: 17-August 11	Hi Goats, I really like the the new model for a Preyton; Would it be acceptable to use it as a Mountain Chimera (or any of the other choices) from a Transformation of Khadon? Secondly would it be acceptable as a Jabberslythe? I understand it's a different base size... 50mm? Yeah, too small. Sure, you can probably put it on a huge rock on top of a bigger base and that will be solved.

Sure. Since there aren�t any models for them I guess anything goes, and as long as it is in some way monstrous I would allow it.

I can also see it as the Shaman in the middle of transforming; The stag part looks kind of Goat-ish, lol. If worst comes to worst, it'd be cool filler, hehe. If You drop a bray-staff and some rags on the base (or even around neck of the beast) this would work wonders for the moment captured in mid-transformation! It is also multipurpose - You can claim that shaman is transforming into any of these beasts. And hey, its base is 2x2 inches, nicely fitting in any unit shaman can fit in.

Van Goghbull Group: Moderators Posts: 2,792 Member No.: 474 Joined: 1-December 04	I bought the Preyton because I'm digging Stags right now (could be cause it is my best friends stag party this Saturday) and after having a few for my Wood Elves I liked the idea of a Beastmen corrupted one for that army. The model isn't the best but given FW and Banebeasts record of having models look way better up close that on the internet I'm happy with my choice. Man that poor empire guy, he's been running from so many FW Monsters. You'd think one would have got him by now. I am keen to try the rules; the Pitched Battle in Monsterous Arcannum allows 25% Scrolls of binding (I think it's still limited to 2 Scrolls) and my buddy wants to take a Carnasor without loosing his slann so should be good -------------------- everything plog ork plog
