The jabber does a lot better in the Flying circus army, two Jabbers, flying doombull/gorebull and the flying SC. As with any army, the trick is to get things stuck on gors or even better ungors, they flank/rear charge with everything.

Sounds like skaven... wink.gif

PS. I agree that the only monster worth it is the Ghorgon. But still some 25-30 points overpriced imo... dry.gif

The general wisdom here seems that I should skip it. I propably will. but I do hope one day that they will get some points reducation or some better stats. Because I like the model very much, and i do like all our rare choses but they seems to be to little

Yep, they range from kind of overpriced (Ghorgon) to outrageously overpriced (Cygor).

I figured that when the new kits came out they would do something to the rules of the models, mainly the points costs via a White Dwarf update. But alas it was not too be. I would love to see more being used. I still kinda plan on getting one of each just for modeling, painting and casual once-in-a-while games. But lets just say they are at the bottom of the totem pole.

You could house rule the SOM costs or upgrades... still overcosted.

2 Cygors and that insane special character can throw around a lot of rocks. Stick Moonclaw by the herdstone like any other miasma shaman. If another shaman fails his stupidity test (and only one should be in range) then just use two dice on one of the others miasma. Given the rate of one-dice failure chances are you are not missing out on much.

Of course given the insane amount of points spent on the big fellas you are coming in with a severe disadvantage. Comped tourneys/player groups would be the way to go.

As much as squashing Ironblasters underneath chunks of menhir is satisfying, I'm fine with just flank charging one with a Razorgor and calling it a day.

If you wanted to try to make it work I suggest Lore of Shadow (for Withering) and Miasma spams to protect him from shooting. Also Malagor seems a handy addition (you could consider Throwing Axe Centigors too).

Just more for a fluff game, not a competitive game.
