So iv been looking at the etc comp and it's got me and a friend thinking about do something like a home town comp and we are going to wright up a comp list for each army that is still in 6th/7th that needs it based apon tier level. This is a colaberation on many parts and my contribution is beastmen and bretonnia. I'd love to hear feed back to help keep me level headed. So this is my list of changes for the beastmen:

Edit pg 35- beastmen ambush, ignore the chart seen on pg 35 of the beastman book and instead use the roll results as desrcibed on pg 79 of the rules book for ambushers.
I see this as along the lines of stream lining every thing

Edit pg 85- under special rules for the wargor add "beastman ambush"
I think this would justify his cost a but more.

Edit page 87- under warhounds ignore "note that warhounds do not count tword your minimum core choice of the army"
Note the gange on ogre globular restrictions in 8th Ed book

Edit change pg 88- under options for Minotaur standard bearer add "may take a magic standard up to ....50 points.

Edit pg 46,56,88- under special rules for centigors and ghorros add fast cavalry as deceived on pg 68 of the rule book.

These next ones I'm still on the fence with but I think would Realy bring them up to speed with out over powering them.
Chang crown of horns to 45 pts (I mean brb stubborn is 35)
change troll hide pg 93 from item type magic armor to gifts of chaos. Note the ruling on ogre butchers geting to take magic armor. This would actualy make it useful to us and would give us armored shaman like chaos warrior, ogres, and even empire.

Change pg 90- change gorgon, cygor, and giant to points, special rules and options as described in the storm of magic rules book. This would allow for more then one competitive build for beastmen.

So what do you think?

BRB Ambush would go a long way.

I would love ambushing Bray-Shamans smile.gif

Centigors Fast Cav so long as they don't loose their 4+ save.

Crown of Horns is interesting as too low and Beastmen have two Stubborn units who are crazy in combat. Could be fun.

The Rares need a points drop of near 100 points. At 150 I still wouldn't take the Jabber every game coffee.gif

I think it's a valiant effort, if you play test it let us know yours and your opponents views.
