It had some yellow, but then I toned it down. When I finished, I new t would still need yellow, and all of the lava will need hot spots. Thanks for the comment, and showing that others would agree!

So I got some work done on the teeth. The bone is getting there, needs some smoothing, but I am really liking the direction this fellow is heading. I also started building the base.

At least someone thinks so, BK. I did some more on the horns, and tongue, so that he would have a focal point. People keep complaining about the focal point, but it is still very far from finished, so of course he has no focal point! Ha! So I gave him a fleshy purple tongue, and did the horns with some purple washes to help draw focus. Pics tomorrow.

So here is the big guy, after I painted the horns and tongue. My intent was to add purples anyway, but I wanted to wait, but here it is. I am sure it will have to be touched up later. Anyway, how should I do the inside layera of the broken horn? I cannot figure that out.

BK is not the only one, I think he looks absolutely stunning! I don't even know what focal point means, but I wouldn't worry too much about what people say as you seem to know what you are doing!

Inside of broken horn Looks like bone marrow I assume? Something like Kommando Khaki or a bit darker?

Well time for an update. Starting to look closer to done now. No blank white spaces. STill no work on the weapon, other than the leather straps. So no pics of it. Here you can see work on the bronze, steel, some horns, the leather and the skulls. Still a lot to do, but getting there. The photo shows the colors as true to life as possible. I took them outside, without the tent.

... I tried to do actual sized photos, but it is blown up anyway...

Well, now to show the work of several days, several days of painting skulls, several skulls...
And I painted some leather.

That aside, you've done a grand job on them. And the leather straps are looking good too.

Thanks. The odd thing is that this mini is before they really went overboard. And I think that the Daemons of Chaos character, Skulltaker, actually has more skulls, and he is on a 25mm base!

But, I enjoy painting skulls, and I think a Khorne Daemon should have many! The Chosen unit I did years ago hadd like 35-40, and I added all but about 5 of them, just to get the point across that they follow Khorne. It was only 5 guys.

In this particular case, I don't think its too many skulls. Especially not when they're painted so beautifully . Great work.
