Suggestions to make this forum better, It's that time of the year again!

You heard me right, we've been around for year and its time for our annual suggestion thread, even if this is the third on in 12 months. However, for simplicity's sake, i'll be pinning this one so theres always a place for input.

Any problems you've noticed, new things you'd like or anything else like that, feel free to chime in.

I think that basically the board is quite good. I like the colour scheme. The major threads are pretty good. Well done!

I think that the # of posts needed before you get a custom title should be reduced to whatver i have now (like 2020 or so)

But seriously, I think on the whole this site is pretty good the way it is. I did have some suggestions, but I can't remember them right now, so I'll add them later. One I can remember though is that maybe we could have a 'quick reply' box at the bottom of each thread, although that might take u too much bandwidth.

no, a quick reply box at the bottom of the thread. its so you dont need to hit the 'add reply' button, its been on a few other sites and is good, but i have no idea how to do it.

ahhh, gotcha. I think thats something that invision would charge for (i'm pretty sure thats the case with the search button too).

Yea to be honest I really like the way the site is set up! Everyone needs to try and get people to join! haha I recruit so many people on the GW boards... Young beast players could do well to listen to the wisdom here... Advertising to interested people would be a nice boost, if there was a way to do it

about once per week i'll scout portent and occasionally help a beast player there and tell them to check out this site. I've seen other do the same too, so we are getting a good rep out there

I am a partial mod on the BloodKeep. I run the Strigoi Forum on that site. We also use invision as our service provider. One thing I noticed this site is missing is a tactics section. You have the Rules, Off Topic...... but no Tactics topic area. I know from the BloodKeep that ours is used alot. Just some thoughts for the mods here.

I think it would be cool (maybe it already exists), to easily find pictures. Really inspiring and cool to show to friends.

I'm also once done exams gonna set up a painting contest (likely in the new year). Daraekas suggested that to me over a PM.

Damned Prince suggested to me an RPG section. How many members would be interested in that?

I don't know whether its my computer lacking java, but I have a suggestion.

When I highlight a sentence to be made bold, italics, underline, quote etc...

Out pops a window that makes me type it in again... Maybe its just my computer, but it doesn't happen at the The Blood Keep?.

There, you just need to highlight what you've typed, then click the appropriate buttons and the tags are inserted for you. It makes emphasis and characterization of sentences much easier.
