I'm over here. Had a couple of beers yesterday, then some more beers, and finished off with a nice chimay. Now, that's raiding. --------------------

Well tonight I had french toast for dinner. Usually I have a bottle of beer or glass of wine with my dinner but I felt exotic tonight and had a beer...with a whiskey depth charge!
My thoughts were WOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! And then I nearly vomited near the middle because I drank a bit like it was just beer but I kept it down. Too heavy for an after dinner drink but something I will have in the future for sure. -------------------- You are guilty! The punishment is death for all who live.

I have to say I am starting to get a bit worried... do we have an Stoners Anonymous? Or would that get the wrong crowd to join up thanks to google keyword searches?

Stoners are people using the (Herd)'Stone. And I was making a conenction the the more famous AA, although I can see it could be taken two ways. And it wasn't for *my* use exactly. I was more thinking of the guy who makes up most of the posts on the last two pages of this thread. 5 posts in this thread in a week? Like I said. I worry... I do drink allot but I rarely get drunk. 3 times this year. And I don't drink in the shower...yet.(thank heavens for small mercies) Dont worry too much about me. But If you start a stoners anonymous I will be happy to post Oh and this page is only half full, plenty of posting to go yet before i make up most of the posts of this one...And the last page is old, Oktoberfest old. And Oktoberfest doesn't count Oh wait thats the page BEFORE. This post has been edited by The Charioteer on May 7 2012, 12:14 PM -------------------- You are guilty! And now you are explaining away the drinking. That's *another* bad sign you know.
I think the next one is being defensive about it. (I'm mostly joking BTW, mostly...) It's just I was this morning reading a post from a guy just back from a rather wet tournament swearing to go dry next year and I recalled a guy I was talking about maybe 2 months ago who told me that during the tournament we (I) organize in June he would try and stay sober now. And we did have a guy who was in no condition to play Sunday last year (who I saw playing with a beer in one hand a month ago at a tournament). And I realize we Warhammer players do booze a lot. I'm hoping it's less than average at least (which it certainly is in my case, I shudder at the thought of the person drinking both their own and "my" share, 20-24L of pure alcohol a year I think it adds up to , I should probably drink more to spare others...). I like to think so, too expensive minis and we need to be painting on weekends. On a more serious note, it's not entirely about getting drunk or not. The amount and frequency also matters. -------------------- |
