Here I am, starting a log on my painting adventures! About time too, since I've been grinding for the past week (and I only managed to paint 5 Gors tongue.gif ). Anywho, Besides the painting I have been a bit busy with my school work (But that's all done now) and with the Herdstone Magazine! Which (If I do say so myself) looks pretty slick right now, expect it to be out in a week or two. So, what will be in this log I here you ask? Well, I've worked out a little budget for my army and more, so here's what I need:

3 Battalion boxes
2 Bestigor boxes
2 Razorgors
1 Box of Gargoyles (Tyranid)
1 Great Bray Shaman
1 Beastlord
1 Ghorgon
6 Grey Knight Terminator boxes
1 Stormraven
2 Grey Knights Strike boxes
1 Librarian
(for the Eldar I'm gonna wait until their next codex comes out, then the list may or may not change)
36 Eldar Jetbikers
20 Warlocks
1 farseer
1 Autarch
20 Rangers
10 Shining Spears
20 Swooping Hawks
3 Warwalkers
2 Fire Prisms

So as you can see I have big plans in the coming age, but I don't expect to get the Battalion boxes until January next year. I should really leave at that, but before I go, here's what I've done in the past.

Inquisitor Psyberius Daemonbane, made from the Terminator Chaplain, Celestine the living Saint and a bit of green stuff, done around november last year. I forgot to take the mould lines off, haunts me everyday.

(I really should resize the images, I'll keep that in mind next time.)

I'm really just being lazy and uploading what's on my laptop already, My camera and models are in my room and I'm in the lounge at the moment. That, and the battery's flat. I'll probably upload what I've done more recently tomorrow. So I'll leave it at that.

I read through that list and wondered what the heck you were planning, then realized it's three armies in one list, phew!

Oh would you look at that, I'm back with that installment I promised. So with me here are a few pictures of what I've been doing in the past week. So here they are!

My 3 paint test Gors, glad to see that my colour scheme actually looks good, so I hear anyway. These guys are actually gonna debut in a herdstone mag tutorial.

A Black Templar I painted for my friend, as he's thinking of starting them. Too lazy to take the mould lines off (I actually kinda left them on in spite, 'ol hateful me).

Various drawings I did, again too lazy to use my scanner so I took photos of them instead.

Oh and a canvas I'm painting! Probably about 10-20% finished, I'm planning to paint the map of the Olde World in the background.

Again, too lazy to resize, I'll get to it eventually. I'm just tired that's all.

So that's what I've been doing for the past week! So yea.... I'm gonna go finish the other 5 Gors now.

ThePan I'm so sorry about the slow reply xD, just recorvered my laptop! Which means one thing..... The Herdstone Magazine files were recovered! So I'll be cranking my production rate up to 999%, the other 1% shall be reserved for sleeping.

Anywhoo, I make my snow by layering my Galeforce nine snow flock on PVA glue, usually about 4-5 times! That's it! Other than a few dabs of a red wash for blood...

As for what I've been doing... Well... Not much really! Don't really know what to say right now, having a mental block, so I'll show you instead!

Nice looking stuff, really curious to see the painting finished. I started one like that many years ago. Based more on the Great Weapon Wargor, I tried to paint the background to look blurry, like he was running at full speed. But I hated it, and got burned out on the whole painting. MAybe I should try to finish it...

Glad to hear you were able to recover your files.

And that is some sharp looking snow.

Painting that canvas has really stalled for me, I just can't seem to pick up the brush again... When the foreground is done I hope to paint the map of the old world as the background, should look quite nice!
