A word of warning to any new player or old, remember to build your list on your tactics and battle plan that YOU plan to use in your games. Do not try to copy a Robb Kopp DE list and try to make it work for Beasts. Your chances are slim that it's going to work. Robb a long time Warmonger and done well with a bunch of diffrent Warhammer armies in the past. Also you have to have his gift of seeing the board and putting his units into position to win.

An excellent point.

We all have our comfort zones that we've built based on what we have enjoyed playing in the past, as well as what we've practiced with. These threads are great for gathering new ideas and helping us think outside our "self created" boxes. cool.gif

I can concede on running the gbs as general and lvl 4 in bestigors. I don't like it, its way risky but I can however concede to it. I cannot concede to a beastlord if the gbs is taken in this manner however.

A combat GBS + 206 is gonna run 541. Not terrible for sure
Leaves enough for a low level shaman to scroll caddy without going too overboard. Interesting very interesting ...

Remember just because you take 40 Bestigors doesn't mean they Have to always go horde. Too many are getting brain locked into their movement tray.

With a lvl 4, 206 BsB, and a lvl 1/2 I am seeing. Room for 4 hammers and fulfilling the requirements of 3 units with rank(s) and standard @ 2500.

Sweet deal.

Thanks everyone again for this thras, has really helped me make my new list..Going to just play with what I have come up with finally.Rather than hijack this thread can check my 2800pts minobus thread.
pretty happy with it,gives me plenty of firepower and alot for the enemy to consider.Decked out minobus, lvl 4 magic,2 hordes of gors,MSU bestigor unit and plenty of harpys, razorgors, raiders. Will have to arrange a game and go from there..
Only help i need now is any item changes on the characters or any minor rules/overlaps I may have made .Army builder helped alot though..
