I've received the Old Glory artillery crew I ordered 9 days ago. It's hard to find pictures of their models online so I thought I'd post them up, maybe it will help some other searcher. smile.gif All the long thin bits were bent, but that's probably what you have to expect buying minis internationally, especially since OG just pack them in a plastic bag; bubble wrap doesn't help if the minis themselves lie on top of each other. Mould lines doesn't seem too bad, except for one of the guys with a powder scoop (4th one in the top line). His face is absolutely destroyed with a fat mouldline and a bad undercut, I probably have to decapitate him and find another head somewhere. Looking at them it seems pretty obvious that they're meant to be split in six groups of five. One interesting thing is that 10-15 of them aren't obvious artillery crew, so can be used for civilians or similar if you want.

And finally pikemen. The greatsword used to be a standard bearer, but the previous owner had snipped off the pole, so I had to drill it out and replace it.

Thanks Mithras! I figured that if I ever do someone in pink it should be a landsknecht. biggrin.gif

Thanks guys. I'm glad you think the storming party is dynamic, since it's (apart from the colonel and drummer) just one plastic sprue with one body and two different arms. So on its own it has a very low variation, that's why I tried to make them as different as possible, with all different headgear and some added beards.

Finished the crouching pikemen and the jumping Scotsman, and made trousers for the walking pikemen. Oh, and a face for the guy with the morion.

Have sculpted some more, from the left we have another shot of the refaced pikeman, then a drummer made from a firelock. After that there's a pikeman WIP in the "receive cavalry" pose, or something like that. That guy had a broken plastic pike, so I had to do something... The following guy has been shown before, now he's got a new helmet crest as well as a repaired shoulder armour.
Then we have a sergeant with what I think is an arm from a plastic squat. And then a pikeman and a musketeer who's recorded "Face Off 2".

First painted artillery crew from Old Glory:

And here is that converted swordsman, the first two uruk hais and two more crewmen. These two look quite posh, and could be used for other stuff as well.

I like the colour selection on the artillery crew.
