Plan basically to win deployment with chaff, and magic phase with the herdstone and 4 wizards. Use razorgors and raiders as re-directors and use the GBS to take down any big targets with beast lore and move in with bestigors and the gors.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
I'd consider removing the sword of strife from the beastlord, give him sword of battle, and then replace the potion and the gem with crown of command for competetive play. 40-ish bestigors fielded in horde formation with a stubborn beastlord is to be feared, no matter what your enemy is.
The great bray looks good, although my favorite for the combat shaman is brass cleaver+gouge tusks, but this is to taste really.
Guessing the ruby ring is there to take care of regenerating monsters, which is wise, but incase there are none, dont waste PD on it.
Personaly iŽd consider dropping two units of ungor raiders, pick up a unit of harpies and make them scouts to do some warmachine hunting.

Thanks for the feedback Stampede! The tournament was yesterday and I basically took the crown of command and sword of battle. It really worked a treat! I kept the 4 units of ungors as i don't have any harpies yet, I still have to get them all made up!
Well basically out of three games I won two and lost one. The first game was against Orcs and Goblins. My opponent had a lot of units with impact hits like pumpwagons and chariots! I managed to kill his chaff with my chaff and miasma a big unit of black orcs with Grimgor from getting to me for 2 turns. I ended up winning 17-3 which I was delighted with especially for my first tournament game. MVP was my shaman who killed a Black Orc BSB, a Warboss and Grimgor. All because I rolled 6's for the Steel Claws twice in a row!!
The second game was against Undead with a corpse cart two skellie units a coven throne i think and a Ghoul king on a terrorgeist as well as a few other bits! Terrorgeist managed to wipe out a my unit of gors in no time and get a flank charge in on my big unit of gors only for my Great Bray to cast panns impenatrable pelt on himself, wyssans on the unit and miasma on the ghoul king. S6 T9 GBS managed to kill the terrorgeist in combat and cause the ghoul king to crumble due to resolution! I eventually managed to win the game with my two big units, the L10 Stubborn Beastlord working wonders!!! :) 17-3 Win again!
The last game was against Dark Elves and the winner would have ended up the tournament winner! I decided to ambush with two units of ungor raiders and the 30 gors. My opponent set up in one corner of his deployment zone and had a 20 crossbowmen, 10 shades, a cauldron, a hydra, 30/35 Black Guard, 50 spearmen, 30 Corsairs . The shade doe unbelievable well killing two units of ungors and my three mages. My absmal rolls for D6 hits and then not even wounding!! Eventually managed to kill the corsairs and crossbowmen with the bestigors and then the hydra. Game ende u a 11 9 to my opponent!
Ended up finishing 3rd overall which I was delighted with! Couldn't of really done much better and my three opponents were great guys! MVP was my GBS "Man Bear Pig" Killing the terrorgeist and a host of Orc Characters!
