lookee at what i got and for a steal! i love ebay. generally if im looking for something for my beastie army, ill skip right over the GW site and hit up ebay. i think everyone should.. GW's prices are very high, and the beastie stuff seems quite over priced compared to what you get for the same dollar amounts with other races.

nice score.

I love eBay too mostly for 80s classic models.

Ebay is great for finding rarer things, or for finding bargains, especially if you can be patient and not be tempted to raise your bid. I spent two weeks bidding on second hand Empire knights, and in the end I got 2 unassembled boxes for the price of one from GW. But even better than that I then put all the spare parts I didn't need back on ebay and have sold them for enough to pay for the Knights! Yes, ebay gave me 16 brand new Knights for free :D

I would guess 90% or more of my Beastman army is second hand from ebay, or from bitz sellers. The only model bought new from GW is Ghorros, and I've bought a handful of non-GW models new too.

So far ive managed to find 5 old school bloodletters, (the ones with axes)
for about £2.50 each,
Score :D

So two Beastmen Battalions and one box of Ungors and Gors each. That racks up to a 1080 Swedish Kronor, which is $145,93. So you just earned 0,93 dollars. ;)

80% of my army came from e-bay. With GW's price increase e-bay will be the best place to acquire mins (well the chaos orc superstore, the war store, and maelstrom games all rock too lol). $5.00 shipping for that lot is great ....nice find!!

this would have cost me $230 from gw. ;)

Ah yes, forgot to add one of the battalion boxes to the price. :) Nice find then! ;)

amazon is also a surprisingly good site to find warhammer stuff on too. most items are $10-20 cheaper than on gw's site, how does that make sense?

amazon is great, got a couple boxes of bloodlcrushers for $40 apiece

eBay and other online retailers are fantastic, especially if you are willing to trawl around and buy individual pieces. Example: I wanted the thunderwolves, with no space wolf riders. Found the bodies for $10 on a bits store, and heads for $4 on ebay. 3 thunderwolves (aka razorgors) for $14! Score.

my best bargain was 15 metal minotaurs for £35
was so happy at that...

If you are willing(*) to cut your own margin it makes perfect sense.

(*)most online retailers are "forced" to, as they are often trading delivery time against price
