For those of you who are not entirley happy with GWs new offering as a replacement for their top selling Devlan Mud than try the AP new Strong Tone INK dip.
I used the following as a pin wash for 2 @ 20mm British green tanks last night.
50% AP ink + 25% water + 25% flow enhancer mix
My flow enhancer mix consists of 25% flow enhancer + 75% distilled water.
I liberally washed the 2 vehicles with this mixture as I would with a similar mixture of Devlan Mud and obtained near identical results. The only difference is that the AP was a slightly more matt finish which for most of us is more ideal .
I just thought I would mention my findings just in case anyone was still looking for an alternative to Devlan Mud.
You also get more product for your money compared to GW :thumbsup:
