Title: My Art

Saintspirit - March 18, 2011 08:22 AM (GMT)
These are paintings I have made in art class.

This one I call Girl in rain. I think the reasons are pretty obvious.

This one haven't earned itself a name yet, but I guess I could call it The Marshlands or something.

(Remember that drawing I put up about a year ago? I thought I had to show you some better art I have made)

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate talented people?

I really like "the marshland", it's very moody.

Sherlocko - March 19, 2011 06:26 AM (GMT)
This is some really nice stuff. :) Love the eerie feeling on the last one.

Saintspirit - March 19, 2011 10:11 AM (GMT)
Thanks to both of you. I have recently made a paraphrase of Munch's The Scream, however I haven't brought it back home yet. I will show you it when I have it here (my teacher liked it very much! :) ).

Tuffy McGrubby - March 22, 2011 12:55 PM (GMT)
How about “stranger in the marshland” or something like that for the 2nd one.
Love your style. Cheers to all who contribute to the art community.

Beastlord Karankawa - March 22, 2011 05:09 PM (GMT)
Very nice - like the marsh one in particular!

Saintspirit - March 27, 2011 02:26 PM (GMT)
Thanks to BK and Tuffy too!
All right, here's my paraphrase to Munch's The Scream. Munch is one of my favorite artists.

That's much better than "paraphrase of the scream" led me to believe, good job!

Saintspirit - March 28, 2011 08:49 PM (GMT)
Yes, there has indeed been some truly unserious "paraphrases" of The Scream, such as this one...
...and this one.

Grumbleguts - March 29, 2011 01:31 AM (GMT)
I would name the marshland one something random....
like toaster stroodles in the shade. :run:

Saintspirit - April 25, 2011 03:26 PM (GMT)
Naah, I don't know about that... I think just The Marshland fits well.
here's some other stuff: First the one I painted when I applied for admission into my school: Penguin in Swamp.

(the task was to paint an animal in an improper landscape)

And then some minor drawings I have made.

Wow, you are really talented. I like everything you have done. You really can catch the "mood" in the paintings. You keep it up (and please show more, it´s very intersting to follow)!

Saintspirit - April 25, 2011 06:28 PM (GMT)
Gee, thanks a lot Ulfast! Yeah, I will try to find something more to put up, I suppose I could take home some paintings from high school tomorrow...
Well, there's these ones of course... Not that advanced, though:

Sorry about the bad photos, photoshop refuces to work <_<

I love this stuff. It's great how you can switch between the cartoony visuals of the drawings and the serious(er) visuals of the paintings. My favourite has to be the marshlands one, though the penguin one is great. The scenery in it reminds of the early levels of Tomb Raider: Underworld.

Saintspirit - April 26, 2011 10:13 AM (GMT)
Thanks. Here's a comic strip character I have created (though I haven't made the comic yet), whose name is Main Jack. A cookie to the first one to get the pun...

Two notes, however: 1, this one was not drawn very careful, and 2, he is not black as if he was from africa, but jet black. Just... for your information.

Chimaera - April 26, 2011 12:49 PM (GMT)
Very nicely done all of those! you have some talent man!

Im guessing the comic char is called that way because he's crazy? (mainiac?)

Saintspirit - April 26, 2011 01:24 PM (GMT)
One cookie for Chimaera.

Saintspirit - June 23, 2011 11:40 AM (GMT)
Hello again.
As I recently finished high school I though it would be fitting to show you some of the pictures I now took home.
First up is a painting where we were supposed to paint a house in four different ways, on one paper - who'll be first to find all four?

The Marshlands looks great! Awesome atmosphere. :)

Saintspirit - September 13, 2011 05:31 PM (GMT)
Here's the last one I made before high school ended; I call it The Disappearance.

Here we go again: here I have painted my Eldar Farseer Artemis Davoña, as she banishes Slaaneshi daemons from her craftworld:
