Frontpage NewsBiscuit Blue Places! The colt that everyone is talking about, Biscuit Blue owned by Clay Townsend, ran his first race last week and amazingly, placed Second. Although he is a descendant of Seabiscuit, the odds were stacked against him with Snip Me Not being the favourite.
A stunned silence had rippled through the grandstand as Biscuit Blue came in second just a nose behind Snip Me Not. It appears this colt has outdone himself and showed everyone that "Hey! I'm here and I'm here to stay!"
Upon asking Clay about how he felt about Blue's win, we received the answer, "Well, of course I wanted him to win, but coming in second in his first race is not a bad place to start. In the same field with a horse like Snip Me Not, I'm glad to be anywhere near the front."
It looks like we'll be hearing and seeing a lot more of this Biscuit Blue!
