EQUINE VETERINARY PROCEDURES:
Complete Vetting $300 This is an all-in-one vetting. This includes the Routine Exam, Vaccinations, and Dewormer all together. If you are unsure of what type of vetting to have done, choose this one.
Routine Exam $150 This is just an initial exam, not really in depth, but will tell you if something is wrong with your horse.
Vaccinations $200 This is just the vaccinations. This will not tell you if anything is wrong, but will help to protect the horse from some diseases.
Deworming $60 This is just the dewormer. This will not tell you the health of your horse, but will protect it from some types of worms.
Gelding $400 This is the procedure for removing a male horse's testicles. This is usually done at a young age, but can be done at any time in the horse's life.
Coggins Test $80 The "Coggins Test" screens the blood sample for exposure to the virus causing Equine Infections Anemia. This is a serious and often fatal disease that is spread by blood sucking flies. If an affected horse is bitten by such a fly he can then transmit the virus to another nearby horse. Horses that are "Coggins Positive" may not show any signs of clinical disease but act as a reservoir for other flies to bite and thus spread the virus to many other horses. If the horse starts to get sick, the signs of the disease are fever, depression, weight loss, anemia, and dependent edema (stocking up).
SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY PROCEDURES:
Complete Vetting $100 This is an all-in-one vetting. This includes both the Routine Exam and Vaccinations. If you are unsure of what type of vetting to have done, choose this one.
Routine Exam $50 This is just an initial exam, not really in depth, but will tell you if something is wrong with your small animal.
Vaccinations $50 This is just the vaccinations. This will not tell you if anything is wrong, but will help to protect your small animal from some diseases.
Spaying or Neutering $100 This is the procedure for removing the testicles of a male or the uterus of a female. This is usually done at a young age, but can be done at any time in the small animal's life.
