• By joining Fight An Eclipse you are agreeing to follow all of these rules.
  
• If for whatever reason you feel the need to give up a character, please speak directly to the staff, letting us know why. We’d prefer that the character wasn’t a minority but again this is up for discussion. This goes for replacing a character as well.
  
• We will have an activity check every month to make sure that your character is active. If you miss the period to check in, your character will be deleted. You must be active to be safe. This means one (1) post a week or four (4) a month MINIMUM.
  
• Be original – no celebrity names (yes, that does include character names from television shows). **Exceptions made in subplots, have an admin okay them though please! You may go to any staff member for this approval!**

• No, you may not use names like devil666 or jess_williams. You must register with a first and last name, proper case letters. If you registered wrong ask an admin to change it for you.
  Good Example: Edward Cullen
  Bad Examples: eDwArD_LuV!!!, edward cullen, Edward Anthony Cullen.
  
• No overly large signatures. If you're using a graphic it can be no larger than 500x300 or if your using icons it should be no more than two rows of icons, five to a row.
  
• OOC fighting will not be tolerated. You do it, and we have the rights to ban you from this site. You may, of course, fight In Character while posting, but fighting with a character's handler will cause trouble and there will be consequences.

• No Gary-Stu’s. As this is an intermediate board, we expect the characters to be well developed. This means there have to be flaws and points of weakness. Things they’re good at it, things they detest. Nobody’s perfect, not even me which – I know – is hard to believe.
  
• Before your application is accepted do not post anywhere else. This means don’t post in the face claim or any other claims. The only place you should be posting it the ‘Google it’ forum. If you want to chat, use the chat box.
  
• Your character must be represented by a person. Not a drawing, but an actual person. It can be an unknown model or a celebrity face, just don‘t use random myspace kids if you aren‘t sure whether the face claim is acceptable ask an admin. After you have chosen one remember to claim it in the Face Claim.
  
• Whether you get accepted or not depends wholly on your application. Put -admin edit-, in your app where it asks. Don't just rush through it – actually work on it because it can help you feel out who your character is.
  
• More than one admin does have to approve the applications, so be patient with us.
  
• We may ask you to change or get rid of vampire powers if we feel it is an unfair power, one already on the board ect. We’ll explain our reasoning.

• As stated before this is a Mature site. However, to be courteous to those who want to join the site but avoid it's mature contents, remember to mark the thread with a warning. Just a simple [M] will do. Remember we have a board for that, if you know from the beginning it’s going to end up a Mature content thread start it there, if it just happens get a hold of an admin immediately so it can be moved.
  
• Sex // Pregnancy – as mentioned above if there is sex involved in the thread, make sure to write "Mature Content" in the subtext. Pregnancy is not allowed on this site without proper permission from all admins, all you have to do is pm one of us and explain why your character needs to be pregnant and we’ll do the rest.
  
• Cursing is allowed, but please don't make it a first language for your character. No one goes around cursing all the time.

, the rest

• God-modding is a definite no. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Though I have to wonder how long you've been role-playing.
  
• This is an Intermediate role-play site, which means that the posts must be lengthy and well written. A minimum 300 words per post. As for grammar, try and keep it at a fairly high level. We understand that people make typos but a post riddled with errors is not what we're looking for.
  
• Admins have the final say. No matter what. This doesn’t mean you can’t talk to us though, we can be persuaded by reason.
  
• You may advertise for other sites, but only in the advertisement board, not on your signature or in any of your posts. Or the cbox. Admins will go nuts if you do.
  
• Please ask premission and credit when you borrow ideas, thoughts, graphics or anything else from the board. This is a simple courtesy. This goes for everything on the site that was not created by you.
  
• If you sign up for a claim somewhere (Face claim, birthday, forum signup, etc), give the admins 72 hours to update before asking/reminding them to do it. Chances are, we are busy doing other things and haven't had a chance yet to get your signup taken care of. If you ask an admin immediately or almost immediately, you are going to have a world of hurt and possibly be denied. Admins are people too, we have things to accomplish guys.
  
• Signature size should not exceed 500 x 300 pixels. Avatars are set to be 100 x 100 pixels. Please use somebody who is famous to portray your character. No cartoons or random people on the internet.
  
• The admins use a Three-Strike rule. You get three warnings before you find yourself with a one week ban for breaking the rules. Please be wary of this as we do enforce the rules.

CHARACTER LIMIT!
Okay guys, here is the deal.

1. You can have a maximum of four (4) characters.
2. If you have three (3), your second one MUST BE a male.
3. If you have four (4), two (2) MUST BE male.
4. You must have 25 posts PER CHARCTER in order to make a new one.
5. Lycans and shifters- You may have one of each, but no more than that. If you want multiple humans or 6ultiple vampires, that is allowed.
7. If you have a canon vampire with a power, any other vampires may not have powers.
8. Lycans must fit into the age range for the lycan pack. They must be 27 or older.
9. You must spread out the age range on your characters! They cannot all be teens/early 20s. So if you have two humans, one can be in high school and the other should be in college or an adult.
10. If there is a ban on something (Check the list in the canon forum), then you cannot make that thing unless it is open on the canon list.
10a. You can only have two (2) canons on the list. They cannot interact.
11. If you go inactive with any of your characters, the inactive ones will be deleted, not the newest ones! So if Tish makes another character and Edward Cullen goes inactive, Edward will be deleted and not the newest character made.
