[KPOP] *Teach Me How To Dream*

Hi !! It's actually my 1st time posting my fanfix for public readers..
I wrote a lot of fix..not only KPOP fix but also fix based on American TV drama.
I've been writing KPOP fix since a couple of months ago..hmm..well..enjoy it..any critics..pls feel free to let me knoe

= PROLOGUE=

Today, I arrived at Seoul international Airport after 15 hours flight from Paris. After taking my luggage and having an immigration officer to check my passport, I walked outside the Seoul International Airport. Being a blonde girl with a big blue eyes, I feel people starring at me as if I’m a weird things. I put my sunglasses on and continue walking.

I have to find him even though it takes forever….

I hailed the taxi outside the arrival terminal and went inside it. I asked the driver to take me to the nearest hotel. Unlucky for me, I can’t speak Korean, that made me to put extra energy to explain the driver in English about what I want and where I want to go. After 10 minutes of explanation which seemed like forever, finally the driver nodded and seemed to understand where I want to go.
This is my first time of being here, in Seoul, one of the busiest cities ever. Being alone in the strange country with no destination to go, I feel a little bit afraid. Suddenly, I erase that thought from my head and continued scanning the city sight through the taxi’s window.

Look, I’m here for you.
It’s been five years….
Where are you ?
Will you remember me when we meet ?
Will you forgive me ?

=CHAPTER 1=


SUMMER 1997, PARIS

Rrrrrrrng…..Rrrrrrrrrrng.

Hearing the noisy sound comes from the alarm, suddenly, Alyssa opened her eyes.

“ Bonjour !!! Ally, wake up….time to go to school “ her nanny have just waking her up from her beauty sleep.

“ Mmmm…five minutes…” She continued sleeping.

“ No…you must wake up ! Don’t you remember what days is it ? It’s your birthday, Cherie “

“ Nanny…”

“ Mmm ??? “

“ Do you know when my dad comes from the trip ?"

“ Sorry, my dear, I don’t know. But cheer yourself. Today is your birthday. I already prepare your dress my dear. Remember ?! your new dress that you have just bought a couple of days ago ? You should wear it today. Show to all of your friends that you’re a queen today, Ok cherie ?!

She woke up from her bed and went to the bathroom. She looked in the mirror and started to wear a light make up and of course the new DKNY t-shirt and new mini skirt that showed her wonderful legs . Yeah ! nanny’s right, today is my birthday , I should cheer myself. She thought

She smiled and went to kitchen downstairs. She grabbed a slice of bread and drank a glass of juice. That’s her daily routine. After finishing her breakfast, she went to the limo that waited for her, Sam, the driver would drive her to the private school.

Today is like an ordinary day for a rich girl named Alyssa De Grande even though 17 years ago she was born exactly on this day. Her family is one of the richest families in Paris. Her dad owns several companies and he used to trip to overseas a lot. Her mother passed away when she was 5 years old. From that time, she lived with her dad in their big mansion outside Paris. Her dad loves her so much. He always gave her something whatever she wants and always made sure that she got what she wants. During this time, since her dad has been traveling a lot, she has several maids and one nanny. Her Nanny is always kind to her. She’s just like a mom figure to her. Being one and only girl lives in a wealthy rich family, she grew up being a rich spoiled girl yet arrogant since she can get whatever she wants.

“ Bonjour…Claire ?! Yes, you and I ? Ok, Ow…merci mon amie…ok, we meet after school ? great, I’ll go with Michel. Ciao ! “ She flipped her latest design clam shell phone and went to the class.

“ Mademoiselle De Grande ! Alyssa ! “ her math teacher called her.

“ Oui ? Yes ? “

“ This is your test. Great you’ve done it perfectly ! keep on going with that, ok ?! “

“ Merci. Thank you so much. “ Alyssa smiled politely

Not so long, school’s over. Alyssa went to the park and waited for Michel, her boyfriend. She sat on the bench under the tree while reading a book. Soft wind blew her long straight blonde hair smoothly.
Everybody said that they are such a perfect couple. Michel is a very handsome boy from another wealthy family and Alyssa is such an angel with a blonde hair and a big blue eyes.

“ Joyeux anniversaire mon ange ! Happy birthday my angel ! “ Michel said while holding a present.

“ Awww..you’re so sweet ! Thank you honey ! “ Alyssa hugged and kissed him slightly on his lips.

“ Well…well..well…should we go now ? “ Michel asked

“ Mmmm..ok..Claire is waiting for us.”

“ Ok…let’s go together with my car and tell Sam to go home.”

“ Ok “

“ I’ll wait in my car, ok ?!”

“ Hello.”

“ De Grande’s Maison Good afternoon “

“ Lily, where’s nanny ?”

“ Miss Alyssa, nanny is..”

“ Ok..Ok…I’ll tell Sam to go home. Tell nanny about it. I’ll go with my boyfriend”

“ But Miss…”

“ Just do it Lily, I have a date. I come home late. Bye “

Not wanting to hear any excuses, Alyssa hang up the phone and went to Michel’s car. They’re gonna be wild tonight. Michel promised her that in her 17th birthday, they would go clubbing to every club in Paris and partying all night long.

“ Lily, why you didn’t call me when Miss Ally was on the phone “ Nanny asked to one of maid named Lily.

“ I did Mam, but you didn’t hear “

“ Did you tell her that her dad is coming back from the trip tonight ?”

“ I just want to inform her Mam, but she didn’t want to hear it. She and Monsieur Michel, they should be together now since Miss Ally told me that they have a date.”

“ I’ll call her at 9.00 PM, please remind ok?!”. Nanny told to Lily.


Wearing new clothes that she just bought ( again ) in Champ Elysées after school. Alyssa now celebrating her 17th birthday in some fancy club called Flick in the downtown of Paris with her friends.

“ Yeah…go baby !!! wooohooo “ Alyssa danced with Michel crazily.
Soon the music turned into slow and they started to dance slowly.

“ I love you Ally “ Michel whispered in her ear.

“ Je t’aime, Michel “ Ally kissed him.

After dancing, they decided to take a rest for a while and they came back to their table.

“ You wanna drink something ?” Michel asked Ally

“ Mmmm…BedRock would be better but not with too much vodka , ok ?”

“ I’ll go get it “

Rrrr…. Rrrrr….Rrrrr…
Soon Ally’s mob rang.

“ Yeah …” Ally answered it lazily.

“ Ally, where are you ?” nanny’s voice on the line.

“ Nanny ? I’m in “Flick” with Michel …” Ally didn’t finished her answer yet

“ Ally, you should go home my dear, your dad is coming tonight.”

“ What I can’t hear you nanny!!, wait!!” Ally ran to the bathroom.
“ Ally, you should go home. Your dad’s coming ! “

“ What ?Nanny, today is my birthday. I’m celebrating it with my friends now. What should I say to them ?” Ally yelled to nanny’s ear.

“ My dear, your dad misses u so much. He didn’t see you for almost a year and today he just comes back to spend birthday with you “.

“ What ? but he never came last year and another last year, He’s always busy.”

“ Today is special my dear. Come on. I’ll send Sam to pick you up at “Flick” and then you’re going to the airport. Your dad’s flight from Korea arrives at 11.00 PM.”

Knowing it was useless to argue her nanny. Finally, Ally gave up.
“ Yeahh..yeah..whatever…”

Ally went to the table to meet all of her best friends. They are all high class uptown girl with too much make up and always wear the latest designer clothes just like herself.

“ Sorry, my dad’s coming. I have to pick him at the airport tonight.”

“ What ?! But this is your birthday Ally. What about Michel ? “ Claire asked surprisingly.

“ I know, I’m so sorry. Have a good night. Thanks for the present !! “ Ally said while walking to the dance floor searching for Michel.

“ Michel, I need to talk. “ Alyssa whisper into Michel’s ear.

“ You what ?! You wanna leave ? “ Michel shouted almost angry.

“ Sorry, but it’s just my dad coming. I miss him Michel, you know that. I wanna meet him. Sorry. I’ll make up tomorrow, ok ? c’mon baby, don’t be so sad.” Alyssa hugging Michel and kissed him on the cheek.

“ Bye. See you at school tomorrow”

Charles De Gaule Airport was busy as usual. It was almost 30 minutes since Alyssa left her birthday party at Flick and came to the airport. Alyssa glanced at her watch, it was almost 11 PM.

“ Air France flight number 12A arrives from Seoul at Gate 11, Thank You “
“ Le Air France voyage 12A est déjà arrivé de Seoul a la porte 11, Merci “

The announcement broke Ally’s daydreaming. She just stared at the candy shop and thought about her childhood, when her mom was alive. Her mom always gave her a box of candy when she was crying and would say, “ Chèrie….please don’t cry, Mommy’s here “.

Ally waited for her dad impatiently. Suddenly, the gate’s door was opening. The passenger one by one walked out the door while their family member or their colleagues greeted them happily. They hugged each other or just smiled happily of seeing someone they knew.

Ally scanned all the passenger, she couldn’t find her dad. She began to dial her dad’s number when she heard a familiar voice that she’s been waiting for. Ally turned around and she smiled happily.

“ Ma Princesse ! Ally ! Ow… you’re a big girl now…I miss you “ Ally’s dad hugged her so tight.

“ Dad ! look !! everybody’s looking at us ! don’t make a scene, dad ! “ Ally’s said jokingly.

“ Me ? making a scene ? oh no…you are the one who create the scene coz they all think that they just see an angel falling from the sky “ Ally’s dad still hugging her.

“ Dad…” She said happily.

“ Bon anniverssaire cherie…, I’ll bring you the best present ever “

“ What ? what is it Dad ? c’mon I wanna know..” Ally’s said spoiled.

“ This lady and this handsome young man behind me. She’s my wife, your new mom and this boy here is your brother.”

Ally couldn’t say anything. Suddenly she felt so numb. She was busy hugging and was happy to see her dad. She didn’t notice that her dad didn’t come alone. He was with a tall skinny Asian lady and a tall Asian boy.

“ Ally, meet your mom. This is Lucy Moon and this is Eric Moon her son. Lucy, Eric, this is my daughter, Alyssa. She’s pretty right like the angel falling from the sky.” Ally’s dad introducing them to her.

“ Ally, nice to meet you. I’m so glad to see you. You’re just like an angel as your dad always told me everyday.” Lucy spoke to Ally in a perfect French.

Ally was shocked at the moment. She looked at the lady. A tall skinny lady. Her skin is very smooth and her curved lips were smiling at her. She only wore a light make up and her dress is not designer dress like Ally usually wore but she looked so pretty in her white dress. She tied her black smooth hair and she putted accessories in her hair. She looked like a perfect kind woman. A mom.

Ally didn’t return her kindness. She felt suddenly of hating her. She was looked at her sarcastically. She turned to face her dad angrily and glanced to Eric, that women-she-hates’ son. He’s taller than Ally. His hair was messy brown hair and his deep brown eyes stared at her timidly. His face was something that Ally couldn’t describe, his perfect curved lips and his high cheek bones. His long eyelashes and a perfect nose seemed fit perfectly to his face. Being only 160cm, Eric is much taller than her. She raised her chin and glanced to Eric sarcasticaly.

“ Well, I guess I can’t accept your present this time. “ Ally said while walking away from her new family member.

Wow.....it must be so hard for Ally when she met her NEW mom , and brother ... V__V

She didn’t bother to hear her dad calling her name or Lucy walking almost running behind her. Ally was running so fast. She didn’t want to be in the same car with her step mother and her son. She hated them.
Soon, at the taxi station. She entered in the yellow cab and asked the driver to bring her home.

Home…A huge mansion. She felt like someday, she will loose all the things in her mansion. She was afraid if it ‘s happening. She owns all inside the mansion, also her dad is belong to her ONLY. She can’t accept the fact that her dad was just married with another woman. She felt that her mom is being betrayed by her dad’s action.

No, I can’t give all my belongings to her. I’ll send her away from me including her son. She will never ever touch my belongings. I hate her…. I hate her….. I hate her for taking my precious father. I hate her for trying to replace my mom’s place beside my father. I hate her for trying to be nice just for pleasing me Lucy Moon and Eric Moon, you both just don’t know me. I won’t accept you both in my life.

Ally felt so betrayed by her dad. She didn’t like Lucy and her son Eric. She didn’t want to share her perfect happiness with her dad. Inside of her heart she felt so scared.

The yellow cab was just arriving in front of the gate of a huge mansion. Ally grabbed 100 euros bill from her purse and give the driver money.

“ Take all with you “ She said.

Ally pressed the bell button and soon the large gate is opening automatically. She walked passing the beautiful garden and arrived in front of the large door. Nanny was greeting her worriedly.

“ My Dear God, what happened to you. You look so sad. Where’s Sam and where’s your dad ? “

Ally didn’t say anything. Almost crying she walked fast to her room and locked the door. She didn’t want to hear anything tonight and wanted to be alone.


= CHAPTER 2 =

Mr. De Grande is marrying my mother now. It means that me and mom should go from our small apartment in Seoul and live with my mom’s husband. I feel so happy seeing my mom smiling happily. She’s just like an angel to me. After my dad’s death of cancer, my mom was different. Yes, she’s been all kind and always smiled to everybody, but inside her heart, there was a big hole until the day Mr. De Grande came to her life one year ago.
My mother was working in Mr. De Grand’s Korean Office while one day they met each other in an exhibition. From that day, Mr. De Grande was always seeing with my mom when he was in Korea. Little by little, my mom began to accept Mr. de Grande’s love.

“ Jung Hyuk, I’m not trying replacing your father’s place in my heart, but my love to Jean is something pure and different. He’s like someone that I’ve been searching for the whole of my life. Our love is pure and strong, not just like a teenage love story. I hope you’ll understand me. I pray someday, you’ll find someone, your soul mate, just like me. “

With that, Eric nodded and smiled happily when her mom and Mr. De Grande married in a catholic church in Seoul four weeks ago. He never saw her mother smiling like that before.

Mr. De Grande always told Eric about his only daughter . “ Eric, I know, she looks like a spoiled girl. But trust me, she has a heart like an angel just like her mother. She’s your younger sister, and you both are only one year apart. Please take care of her for me. “

An Angel. It was a words that Eric could describe when he first saw Alyssa in the airport.

Her small face and her skinny figure, her long blonde hair, her big blue eyes, they are remind him of an angel in the fairy tale that he usually read when he was child.
He couldn’t say anything and only nodded in respect when Alyssa took a look at him with anger. He could feel, Alyssa’s eyes burning with fire of hatred. Eric almost ran to catch her when she was running angrily leaving three of them. But he felt like his two legs were glued at its place.

Soon, the limo arrived in front of the huge mansion. Sam, the driver opened the door for Mr. De Grande and Mr. De Grande took his new wife hands.

“ Welcome to our home “ He whispered to Lucy’s ear.

Lucy kept staring at the house and continued staring, not realizing that she’s not dreaming now. The mansion is beautiful. She couldn’t believe that she’s staying inside this huge mansion. The mansion’s remind her of those celebrity mansion in Monaco that she has usually seen it in TV.

Eric, he also felt numb. He couldn’t believe that he will live in this house. This house is like a palace compare to a small apartment, he and her mom lived for almost all of his entire life back in Seoul. Crystal lamp, smooth carpet, beautiful garden, well decorated wall, it was too much for him.

“ Well, since you are two already tired, I’ll show your room, Eric, and you, you come with me, my lovely wife.” Mr. De Grande said to Eric and Lucy.

“ Lily, accompany Eric to his room, and Sam, please take care of Eric’s luggage.”
With that command, Lily the maid took care of Eric’s belongings.

It was midnight, but Alyssa couldn’t sleep. Her eyes were wet from her tears and she was starring to the sky from her balcony.
This is my worst birthday ever. She thought.

Knock…knock….knock…

A slight knock came from her bedroom door. Ally soon opened the door and facing her dad there.

“ May I come in ?” her dad said smiling.

Ally felt like closing the door, but instead of doing that, she walked to her bed and laid there. Her dad soon sat in her bed.

“ Ally, sorry, I should have told you first about this.” Ally heard her dad saying while pretending to sleep.

“ I know, I deserve your anger but she’s…she’s just someone I can’t describe. She’s too perfect.” Her dad was taking a deep breath.

“ I was married to her four months ago in Seoul. My biggest mistake is I didn’t tell you right after that moment. I regret for that, Ally. I’m not trying to replace your mom, but trust me, she’ll be a good mom for you.”

Ally was going to open her mouth until she heard her dad saying, “ I love her Ally, but I love you more than her. You are my precious angel, please forgive me for not telling about this earlier. It’s not her fault, it’s mine. Try to be nice to her. She loves you as much as I love you, my dear.”

Her dad was silence after saying those words, waiting for Ally’s respond. But he knew, Ally wasn’t going to say a words so he continued.

“ About Eric, I know it’s hard to accept her as your brother at first, but Eric is a good boy. Try to be his friend before starting a relationship like brother and sister, I know somehow, It’s hard to do. He’s a clever young man, he’s older than you for only one year. I told him a lot about you, he seemed to understand me and promised me to take care of you just like I do.” Her dad smiled to himself while caressing Ally’s hair.

With that last words to his only daughter, Mr. De Grande kissed Ally’s cheek and left Ally’s bedroom.

Basically, this is Shinhwa fix ...*my 1st korean FF* n Eric took a major part of it kekekeke. The story is about a girl who discovered a meaning of life... * shrugs *... yeah..something like that...



The next morning, Ally felt like she didn’t want to go to school until her nanny came to her room.

“ Ally, wake up cherie “ nanny said while opening the curtain.

“ Nanny, you know about that, right ?!” Ally said to her nanny accusingly.

“ Ally, you woke up already ?! “

“ Nanny, don’t pretend like a fool. You know right ?! Why you didn’t tell me ? Am I the one in this house who doesn’t know about it ? You all played a joke on me, right ?! You all love seeing me of being a fool, right ?! Please go out !! I don’t need you ! I hate you !! “ Ally said harshly to her nanny.

Her nanny couldn’t say anything. Ally was right. She knew about the marriage, but Mr. De Grande told her for not telling the fact to Ally until the day he came back from Korea. He was going to tell it by himself. Nanny knew how Ally felt right now. She must felt of being betrayed by everybody.

“ Go out !! I don’t need you right now. “ With that words Ally went to the bathroom and slammed the door.

After doing a slight make up and wearing her favorite D&G T-shirt, Ally went to the kitchen for her daily routine. She walked downstairs passing the dining room only to find her dad and Lucy chatted happily. Soon, as they saw her, they greeted her cheerfully,

“ Good morning my dear ” said her dad.

“ Bonjour, Ally “ said Lucy smiling at her while holding Mr. De Grande’s hand.

Ally only took a glance to them and went to kitchen. She opened her jumbo refrigerator and took a box of orange juice and a candy bar.
She felt so angry and decided not to pass in front of them again. She went to the back door in the kitchen and walked outside to the garage.

“ This house is big but why suddenly I feel this house is so small “, Ally said to herself and sighed.

= CHAPTER 3 =

“ Ally !! attends-moi! Wait for me !! “, Ally heard her best friend, Claire, called her name right after she entered the school gate.

“ Claire ! what are you doing ? why you are running ? “ Seeing Claire ran to her, Ally asked her best friends.

“ You missed something great last night. You know, Marc and Liliane? They officially announced that they are couple now, and…Michel, he danced like a crazy man soon as you left him. That wasn’t good right ?! and…”

Claire didn’t finish her sentence yet because Ally cut her, “ What, he was drunk again ? Well, he’s dead this time !”

“ No..no…don’t be too harsh on him. Remember, you left him. And guess what, my cousin told me that there are a bunch of new items in Champs. We should grab ‘em tonight Ok ?!”

“ Well, I wanna be with Michel and….”

“ And what ? Michel ? next time…ok…Ally, next week is summer vacation, you still want to wear the same dress like last year…well, it’s not you I guess”

“ Hahahaha…ok..ok…it’s not me…you’re right ! Let’s go grab ‘em after school ? “

“ Ok…Ok…”

Ally and Claire, they are best friends since they were in junior high school. They are inseparable. They shared laughter, cries, and even their deepest secret. Claire has one older sister and she always helped Ally whenever she got a problem. Sometimes, Ally, Claire, Claire’s sister named Julie, and Claire’s parents, they went to Monaco just to spend their summer holiday in Claire’s parents villa near the Monaco harbor. Mr. De Grande and Mr. Lerand, Claire’s father, they have a very good relationship in business. And since their daughters are best friends, the business relationship soon became a family relationship.

Ally and Claire now together walked inside the school building and found their boyfriends waiting. Soon, two happy couple walked happily hands in hands into their class.

Eric opened his eyes lazily. He was too tired from the trip and didn’t remember where he was. He blinked his eyes and he found that now he was sleeping on the most comfortable bed he ever felt. A bird chirping from the window made he realizes that now he’s a thousands miles away from Korea, his homeland for his whole life.

He examined the room. A large high class bedroom fulfilled with the first class furniture made from the first quality wood. The size of the room is three times larger than his small apartment in Seoul. Eric got up from his bed and found himself standing in the balcony. He saw his surroundings and felt a warm air, soon he smiled a little and went to the bathroom.

“ Bonjour Monsieur,” Eric heard several maids greeted him as he walked downstairs to the kitchen. Eric only nodded and gave a little smile to them due to the fact that he didn’t speak French. He walked silently until a voice called his name.

“ Eric, you already wake up ! “ Mr. De Grande walked to him happily.

“ Good morning, Mr. De Grande.” Eric said politely in English with a thick korean accent.

“ Mr. De Grande ? Wow , you should stop calling Mr. De Grande now since I’m officially your father. Calling me Jean if you want.”

“ Ok….Mr….no…Jean “

“ Well, well, well, good boy “

Hearing that compliment, Eric only smiled timidly.

“ Eric, I’ll have something to tell you. But before that, you should do your breakfast first. Your mom and me, we’ll wait in my reading room, ok ?!”

After finishing his breakfast, Eric went to the reading room. A large room full of books. Mr. De Grande and his mother sat on the cozy sofa while drinking a juice.

Seeing Eric in the room, they smiled, “ Eric, come here ! “

Eric, sat on the sofa in front of them and was ready to hear what they are going to say.

“ Eric, me and your mom, we’ve decided something. You should go to the college this autumn. We’ll enroll you in L’Université De Paris, which is the best university in this country. You’re going to study business and economics. How about that ?”
Mr. De Grande said to Eric.

Knowing he didn’t have any other choices, Eric nodded and agreed to their plan.

“ But what about the language ? I can’t speak French. “ Eric asked.

“ We’ll hire a part time teacher during this summer. You’re going to study French until the college starts in this autumn” Mr De Grande said to Eric.

“ And, as soon as college starts, you also start to work in my office after school. “ Mr. De Grande added.

It was more like a command than a request, Eric thought.

“ Ok. So when do I start ?

Eric was going to say no for all this settled up plan. He was never interested in business and economics. He wanted to be a musician. He was a member of a band in Seoul. Every night, he and his bands performed in various café to earn some money. His dream was he wants to record his band album and sells it over nation. But, dream was sometimes can’t be easily reached. Eric preferred to see the happiness from his mother face than to disobey his step-father that might cause a smile in his mom face fade away.

“ We’ll start it tomorrow.” With that words, Mr. De Grande hugged Eric and after that he kissed Lucy, Eric’s mom.

“ Thank you Eric. Soon it will all be yours. I have no son to take care of my business and you.. you’re truly my hope. My son.”

Eric was surprised with the last words came from Mr. De Grande’s mouth. Hearing the words “ son “ was really surprising him, because nobody called him son except his mom.
Eric smiled and left the reading room.

“ You have a wonderful son Lucy. “ Mr. De Grande said to Lucy a moment after Eric left the room.

“ I have a wonderful husband too. “ Lucy smiled while kissing Mr. De Grande.

Eric walked around the house. All he was going to describe about this house is only one word, AMAZING. The mansion has the 19th century typical European noble mansion. Its brick wall and renaissance window style somehow reminded him of a dream land castle. The garden is so big and there’s a fountain in the middle of the garden. A sculpture of an angel was placed in the middle of fountain. The flowers bloomed and the grasses are greens. Eric felt like he was in a fairy tale. He sighed and walked back inside the house.

As he walked to the upstairs, he met nanny. Nanny gave him a weird stare and continued walking downstairs. Damn, Eric thought. He should ask her which one is his room. All the door looked all the same for him. Seeing one of closed room in the left, soon Eric turned the door knob

Chibi : No..of course not...There are a milion of Alyssa in France..I decided to use it for my character coz..It's a common name in France kekekeke....

“ Well, I guess I should go home Claire…” Ally said to Claire.

“ No..you promised me to go to the Champs with me.”

“ Yes, but I need to change plus..I have some unfinished business with Michel”

“ Yea…yea…little miss perfect won’t allow herself to wear the same clothes, right? “
Claire said jokingly.

“ Hah…you know me…so, see you at four in Bastille, Ok…and don’t go with a little boyfriends of yours “

“ A little boyfriends ? Hah..he’s not a little boyfriends…he’s name is Alain.” Claire complained.

“ We’ll see how long that Alain guy can stay with you…hahahaha…plus I bet you’ll find someone else by this afternoon….”

“ As if you never do that…Michel is strong enough to handle a little wh.ore like you !”

“ Well, if I’m wh.ore…you’re my pimp then….”
Two girls were walking together to the school yard. They were going to meet their boyfriends.

“ Coucou…you’re so sweet..let me kiss you “ Alain said to Claire.

“ Awww…you’re so naughty, Alain !! Look they are staring at us”

Ally rolled her eyes and turned to face Michel. Michel was greeting her happily. Soon two lovey dovey birds hugged each other and walked to Michel’s car.

“ See you at four, Claire “ Ally yelled at Claire from the parking slot.

Being busy with her boyfriends Claire only waived her hand to Ally.

Eric walked silently inside the room. He was surprised realizing his mistake. He saw a picture placing on the drawer. A beautiful girl smiling while carrying a big teddy bear. Eric looked at the picture and smiled, it was Alyssa when she was kid. Being inside the wrong room, Eric scanned the room. Ally’s room is bigger than his room that he used last night. A large bed full of dolls covered by a soft pink blanket, a large size of closet full of clothes, an antique large drawer, a latest Hi-Fi stereo model was placed in the corner of the room. The rack near the 29” inch TV was full of CD’s and latest movies. A slim PC set was placed on the table near the window. Eric slowly walked to the small table near the bed. He found a lot of pictures in a various frames. His eyes caught on one picture, a picture of Alyssa smiling happily like an angel. Her blond hair was blown by the wind and her sweet smile made him smiling while taking her picture frame from the table.

“ What are you doing here ? “ A harsh voice came from the opened door

Eric couldn’t help himself from Alyssa’s sudden coming. He was staring at Alyssa nervously while trying to place a picture frame to the table.

“ Did your mother never tell you about the words called PRIVACY ?” Alyssa yelled to Eric.

“ What are you going to steal from my room ? You are a big bas.tard ! Le villain !!! Je te deteste ! I hate you !” Alyssa screamed.

“ Sorry, I’m so sorry. I’m here accidentally, I don’t know that it’s your room…” Eric tried to explain.

“ What, I can’t hear you…speak French for God’s sake or better I hear you speak English from your Korean mouth !!! I don’t care what are you going to do here, Get out !! Nanny …….!!!! “

Hearing a loud noise came from Alyssa’s room, Mr. De Grande went to the upstairs. He found that his daughter yelled to Eric, and Eric was standing in front of her with his head down tried to say something.

“ Papa ! Look at your so called step son here. He tried to steal my belongings. He was here all day. This is my room Papa…” Knowing the presence of her dad, Alyssa said angrily to him.

“ Look, Papa, I don’t care if you’re married with that Asian woman, but please I do have privacy. I don’t like if people walked inside my territory like it’s asupermarket ! That bas.tard ! He should control himself…” Alyssa still yelled.

“ Ally, don’t say like that to your brother. He doesn’t know that it’s your room, I’m sure about that. Just forgive him, he’s admitting that this is his mistake, right ?!” Mr. De Grande said wisely.

“ Since when I have brother. He’s not my brother.. I hate those Asian people, they can’t be my brothers !! Now, you two out from my room. Get out !! “ with that Ally sent those two people outside and slammed the door.

“ Sorry Eric, she’s kind actually. But being alone for almost of entire of her life made her becomes so selfish. “ Mr. De Grande said to Eric right after Alyssa slammed the door.

Eric only stared at Mr. De Grande blankly.

“ You’re her brother now. Please understand her, ok ?!” With that words, Eric nodded and walked to his room.

“ Nanny, next time don’t let him entering my room without my permission. I’m afraid that he might steal something. Those poor Koreans…I hate them…” Alyssa said emotionally to her nanny. Hearing Alyssa’s words, nanny nodded and continued to place Alyssa’s clothes in the closet.

= CHAPTER 4 =

Minute passed becoming hour, hour passed becoming day, a day passed becoming a week, soon one month has passed and that was summer holiday. Ally felt more hatred to Lucy and Eric. Everyday she went to Claire’s house and they went out with their boyfriend or their friends together. She was never at home during the day. She spent her times a lot to go shopping, wasting her dad’s money as much as possible. When the dinner time came, she ate her dinner quietly and then went to her bedroom or she went outside with her friends.

She never talked to Lucy even though Lucy tried her best to get close with her. Ally ignored her so much and didn’t even notice her presence. As for her dad, Ally barely talked to her dad. He was always busy as usual and always went to business trip as usual, but the difference is now he never went to a business trip alone. He was always with Lucy. Ally didn’t like this kind of situation, especially when she was in home only with Eric. She still hated Eric even Eric tried so hard to talk to her in French. He put too much efforts to study French with the private tutor in order to enroll himself in a college this autumn. He wasn’t going to make his mom disappointed.

Eric was always cold and quite, not too many words came from his mouth. Knowing Eric’s attitude made Ally feel more anger in him. Her dad always smiling happily when he chatted with Eric during the dinner and he seemed enjoying himself of having a good son like Eric. Ally didn’t like this fact. Every time Eric and her dad chatted, her eyes looked at them with a fire of jealousy.

Ally couldn’t keep the secret that she’s been hiding for this past few weeks. She needed to tell it to Claire, her best friend.

“ What ? Are you serious ? You mean your dad is married with Asian woman ?” Claire said surprisingly to Alyssa when they were in La Brasserie ( some kind of café in France ) near the Bastille one day after doing shopping.

“ Shhhh…people’s starring at us….” Ally said embarrassingly.

Claire looked at Alyssa in disbelieve and said, “ Well girl, what are you going to do now ?”

“ I dunno…I feel so betrayed. I hate that woman and her…son…” When Alyssa mentioned the words “ son “, she said it quietly.

“ Son ?? What do you mean by that ? That woman… she has a son ? “

“ Yes. He’s one year older than me. I hate him as much as I hate his mother ! “
Ally said emotionally.

“ Claire, you know what, the worst part of it…my dad…he seemed like….he loves that wh.ore and that bas.tard so much. I hate him for it and every time I saw them, I feel like I was nothing there.” Ally said crying.

“ Ally, don’t cry….I know what you feel. I feel so sorry about it….sshhhh….” Claire tried to make Ally calmed herself.

“ What should I do ? I can’t go on like this. I dunno what to do…I feel like ….” Ally couldn’t continue her sentence, she sipped her juice and continued, “ I really want them out of my life ! “

Claire seemed too surprise, yet couldn’t say anything. Yes, she heard the rumors and stuff about Ally’s family, press loved it, but the marriage ?! She didn’t have any idea for it.

“ Ummm Ally, you can come to my house during this summer vacation if you want to. We can go to Cannes together and you’ll forget about your family for a while.”
Ally sighed and said,” I’ll think about it but thanks anyway.”

“ I’ll send him and his mother away from me. I hate both of them. A whore and A son of Bitch shouldn’t live in my house. I’ll send them away, especially that bastard, out of my life.” Ally said to Claire seriously, full of hatred.

“ Ally, don’t hurt yourself.”

“ No…I’m not getting hurt. You’ll see Claire.” Soon as she said that, Ally was leaving the table, Claire had the strange feeling about that. She was afraid that something might happen to her friend. She dialed Michel’s number.

“ Michel ? C’est Claire. This is Claire, I have something to tell you.”


Eric was busy studying French in the reading room. He didn’t hear that someone knocked the door.

“ Monsieur Eric, Vous etes la ? Sir ?” A maid named Jacqueline called him.

“ Oui ! Yes ! “ Eric opened the door.

“ Monsieur, you got a call from Korea, this is your friend.” Jacqueline gave Eric a cordless phone.

“ Hello “

“ Jung Hyuk ssi…” A weak voice called him by his Korean name. Only two persons in his life called him by his Korean name. His mother and one girl.

Eric gasped. He knew who the person on the line was.

“ Hee Sun” Eric whispered.

“ Anyounghaseyo Jung Hyuk ssi…do you still remember me ? Why did you leave without saying a words to me ?” A soft voice was on the line.

Eric only stared at the blank space. He didn’t believe that Hee Sun would call him. He couldn’t say a word.

Hee Sun was a girl that he dreamt of every night. He missed her like crazy and leaving her was like a thousand knifes placed in his heart. There were no words spoken. Silence….

Finally after a couple seconds of silence Eric said slowly, “ Sorry, please don’t call, arasuh ? “

“ Jung Hyuk ssi…please listen to me, jeongmal pugosipoyo….I miss you…”

Eric closed his eyes and pressed “ end “ button. He placed the phone on the table. He didn’t want to hear and walked to his room.

Hee Sun supposed to be a girl he loves. Eric couldn’t stop thinking about her even though he was a thousand miles away from her now. He loves her more than life itself, but a destiny wouldn’t allow them to be together.

Eric laid on his bed and tried to close his eyes. He wanted to erase Hee Sun from his mind. He stared at the ceiling while trying not to think about her. Half an hour passed and suddenly the door opened and a harsh voice called his name,

“ Eric, wake up you lazy bastard !”

Knowing that Ally called his name, he woke up and stared at Ally questioningly.

“ This is the first and the last time I ask your favors…” Ally paused.

“ Please, go away from my life, my dad, my house….I think we don’t need you in our house. What stupid game you and your whore called mother play? You want my dad’s money ?...... “ Ally said sarcastically almost uncontrollably nearly screamed.

Eric got up from his bed and stood in front of Ally while Ally said ,” Your mother is a wh.ore, she’s the one who seduced my father. A whore !! A wh.ore !! You’re a s.on of bi.tch !! Go away from my life !! I’m tired to see you around my house, you and your wh.ore mother….”

*Slap*

Eric slapped her before she continued to say something again. He didn’t know why he slapped her hard, He was never hurting a woman before. Realizing his sudden action, he was staring at Ally apologetically.

“ Sorry, I….” Eric couldn’t continue.

Ally, touched her left cheek. She didn’t believe what just happened. Her cheek stung and her big blue eyes were wet from tears. She glared at Eric evilly. Her eyes were burning. She hated him for doing that. She was never being slapped by anybody.

“ Nanny !! Nanny !! “ She screamed loudly calling nanny’s name.

Hearing Ally was screaming while crying, nanny went to the upstairs. She entered Eric’s room almost running and saw a strange view. Ally was crying while placing her hand on her left cheek and Eric was staring at her apologetically while trying to say a word.

“ Nanny….” Ally said crying as she ran to nanny.

“ What happened ma cherie ? “ nanny said trying to calm Ally.

“ Nanny, he slapped me. Look at this.” Ally pointed her left cheek.

Knowing the fact that Eric slapped Ally, she yelled, “ What are you doing ? you know what you’re doing ? You don’t have a right to slap my baby ! “

“ I’m so sorry.. I didn’t mean to.. really…I was just….” Eric didn’t finish his sentence while his mom entered his room.

Ally was crying while glaring at her. Nanny was holding Ally in her embrace, tried to comfort her.

“ What is happening here ? “ Lucy was asking to Eric and still didn’t understand why Ally crying in nanny’s embrace. She was just coming back from her husband’s office and was almost running to upstairs because she heard nanny yelled to Eric.

“ Madame, I have something to tell you.” Nanny paused and looked at Lucy.

“ He, your son slapped Ally.” Nanny pointed at Eric.

“ What ? Moon Jung Hyuk ! You did that ? “ Lucy asked Eric angrily.

“ Moon Jung Hyuk ! she’s a girl, and she’s your sister, why you slapped her ? “

“ Umma, I didn’t mean to…sorry… “ Eric said slowly not seeing his mother’s face.

“ You’re such a cruel person. You’re not hitting a girl anymore ! If I see you hurting her, I’m not going to forgive you !”

Eric remained silence, he didn’t dare to look at his mother’s face.

Seeing this scene, Ally said threateningly, “ I’m going to tell my dad about this. I was never being slapped by anybody before. You two, you are just the same. You do want my dad’s money but not me.”

“ Ally dear, don’t say that. I love you cherie..”

Ally didn’t want to hear what Lucy said. She walked outside Eric’s room followed by nanny. She left and didn’t want to turn back.

“ Eric, tell me…why you did that ! “ Lucy was angry to Eric and didn’t want to hear any excuse came from Eric’s mouth. She was afraid what would happen if Ally told her father about that.
Eric shut his mouth, he only stared at his mother blankly and left the room. He needed to find Ally.

Inside her room, Ally was smiling happily. That scene was exactly what she’s been expecting for.
I’m going to send you both away from me. Wait until I tell my dad about this.
She looked at the mirror in her bathroom and applied a cold cream in her cheek.
Hmmm…my cheek stings, but I think this is the price I should pay for sending them away.
Trying to make a fake hurtful voice , she dialed her dad’s number.

“ Papa…*hiks* where are you ? “

“ Ally, is that you ? Why you’re crying ?”

“ Papa, I’m so sorry *hiks*…..” Ally said slowly.

“ What ? What you’re sorry ? What happened ? Where are you ?” Her dad said full of concern.

“ Papa, I didn’t say something bad to Eric, but maybe I didn’t understand him, maybe I said something wrong…”

“ And…”

“ And…he slapped me, Papa…Papa, please forgive him…He didn’t mean to..he..”

“ What ? He slapped you ?! Cherie…wait at home.. don’t go anywhere. Nobody can slap you. I’ll handle this…wait for me. As soon as I finish this, I’m going home.” Mr. De Grande cut her sentence and said to Ally boldly.

Hearing that answer from her dad, Ally smiled slightly and continued her fake crying…” I’ll wait for you, Papa * hiks*.”

Hmmm….look what will happen to you Eric. My dad will send you away from me. I’ll be free…just wait my Eric dear…wait until my dad comes.

Ally sat in front of her computer screen and began to browse. She began to check her inbox.

*knock…knock…*

A slight knocked from the door.

“ Qui est ? Who’s it ? “

There was no answer .

*knock…knock…*

“ Look Nanny, I don’t wanna play this time.” Ally protested while walking to the door.

Soon as she opened the door, there was Eric stood in front of her with his head lunged down.

“ Well..well…well…look who is it.” Ally said sarcastically.

Eric lifted his head and faced Ally.

“ Ally, sorry…” his voice was weak and full of guilty feeling.

“ What ? I didn’t hear you…” Ally raised her voice.

“ Sorry, I didn’t mean to ..”

“ To what ? slap me ? Yes, you mean that and I’ll never forgive you !!
I hate you !!” ,Ally said while closing the door.

As she slammed the door, Eric’s palm tried to stop the door from closing.

*Bam*

A hard wood door hit Eric’s palm. Eric didn’t move his palm even an inch.
Knowing this situation, Ally was getting angrier. Eric’s face didn’t show any pain. She slammed the door once again, and that door was hitting Eric’s palm again. She observed Eric’s face. There was no pain left in there, his brown eyes stared at Ally deeply.

“ Ally, you can hit me thousand times if you want to. I deserve that. Sorry for everything.”

With that words, Eric turned around and walked to his bedroom.
Ally was still surprise with Eric’s words. His thick Korean accent and his deep voice still rang in her ear, Ally watched as Eric walked in to his bedroom. His back didn’t show too much emotion. She knew that she hurt him physically and emotionally, somehow she felt a little bit guilty.
Soon she erased that thought from her mind and said to herself,” I’m not going to give up ”

Eric was facing Mr. De Grande in his reading room. Mr. De Grande was sitting in his antique expensive chair while observing Eric’s face.

“ Alyssa called me this afternoon….” He paused, “ And she told me about you and what you did to her.”

Eric didn’t look at Mr. De Grande’s face. Somehow he knew that he was in a deep trouble right now.

“ Eric, sorry about what happened. My Alyssa is not a bad person. I know that she’s been arranging this, my instinct said so.” Mr. De Grande took a deep breath.

Eric was surprise hearing what Mr. De Grande said. He looked at Mr. De Grande and slowly said,” Sorry, I didn’t mean to.”

“ I know, but this is the first and the last time you did that to her. Please take care of her. I know sometimes she’s been too stubborn, but please don’t hurt her.”

Hearing Mr. De Grande’s words, Eric only stared at him blankly. He really didn’t understand why Mr. De Grande acted so nicely to him. He knew that he didn’t deserve this.
Eric sighed and said,” Sorry, I really didn’t mean to. I’ll take care of her with all of my life.”

“ Good ! you’re really my son. That’s exactly that I wanna hear.” Mr. De Grande said proudly.

“ By the way, I already enrolled you for the college. You’ll start in this autumn.”

Alyssa was eavesdropping all the conversation between Eric and her dad as she hide herself behind the door. Slowly the tears dropped from her blue eyes, she didn’t believe why her dad wasn’t angry to Eric. Alyssa feel her heart would burst in a second. She was so angry to everything.

I’m his daughter for God’s sake !! why he acted so nicely while a stranger slapping his daughter right in her face. Just wait my revenge Eric, just wait.

= CHAPTER 5 =

“I really don’t get it, Papa ! I want to go to Cannes only with my friends. I’m not a little kid. I’m 16 for God’s sake !” Alyssa argued her father when her father asked her to go with Eric to Cannes with all of her friends.

She’s been arranging to go to Cannes with Claire for a week.

“ Ally, Eric never goes anywhere. He’s always at home, he doesn’t know anywhere here. Just take him with you, ok ?”

“ It’s his damn business Papa. If you think your new son feels lonely, why you don’t take him to your trip ? I don’t wanna be with him in my vacation, with all of my friends. It’s my vacation Papa and I don’t need him to be in the same picture with me and all of my friends.”

“ Ally, I never asked you for anything, right ?! only for this time, ok ?!” Her father sighed and continued,” Soon as Eric goes to college, he’ll have his own friends. Beside, if you still insist leaving him alone here, mmm…actually I’m planning to buy a new car for you …but….” Her dad pretended to think.

“ What are you sure Papa ? I’ll have my own car ? the blue BMW convertible that I told you ? really ? wah !!!! Thank you thank you thank you…!!!” Ally hugged her father and jumped happily.

“ Wow..wow..wow…tight here !! But you have to take Eric with you. Promise me ?!”

“ Only for a week right ?”

“ Yes.”

“ After that, I’ll get my BMW, right ? with the latest stereo in it , right ?”

“ Yes.” Her father nodded smiling.

“ Mmmm…but I need extra cash..” Ally demanded.

Her father cut her sentence,” Anything for you….”

“ Done. I’ll take him with me. But don’t expect that I’ll treat him as my brother coz I don’t have it, remember ?! and one more, you’re the one who is going to tell him coz I won’t, Ok ?! “ Ally stated and walked to her room while dialing Claire number from her mobile.

“ Claire, I have something to tell you.”

“ Ally ! I tried to call you thousand times but you switched off your cell.” Ally heard Claire almost yelled from the other line. Typical Claire, She didn’t want person switched off their cell especially when she called them.

“ My dad wants me to bring Eric with me.”

“ What ?! Are you serious ?”

“ A demain. See you tomorrow at the airport.” Didn’t want to hear any comment from Claire, Ally cut her sentence.

The next morning, Sam the driver accompanied Ally and Eric to the airport. Ally sat on the back of the black Jaguar and Eric sat beside Sam. They were both only silence until Sam broke the ice.

“ So, Eric, this is your first trip, non ?!”
“ Oui, c’est mon premier voyage. Yeah this is my first.” Eric said in a thick Korean accent.

“ Hahahaha… you speak French well, I’m sure that you study hard.” Sam gave him compliment.

“ Merci. Thank you” Eric said blushing.

“ So, you‘ll like Cannes. You know the beach and a lot of belle nana there, you know a hot chicks, hahahaha….”

Ally only rolled her eyes and pretended not hearing a conversation between them. She was busy listening to the song from her Discman and closed her eyes. She was thinking how unlucky she is in this summer. What should she say to all of her friends about Eric and especially Michel. They will all laugh at her. In her eyes, having an Asian brother was too embarrassing.

“ Ally, we are in airport now. We should be going.” Eric said gently to Ally while touching Ally’s shoulder smoothly.

Ally opened her eyes and saw a pair of warm brown eyes starring at her. “ Go away from me and don’t touch me.” Ally said harshly and continued her sentence,“ From now on, you should pretend to be my servant. I don’t want if all of my friends know our real relationship. Our relationship is master and slave now and you’re my slave.”
