I.Wish.We.Could.Pretend

[Professor Travis Aspinall]

Travis had been at the school now all of a week, half of that had been the tail end of the school holidays so he'd had chance to wander around without the inevitable interuption of students. He'd pretty much found everything the inside of the school had to offer and had taken to spending a lot of his free time in the staff room so he wouldn't have to sit alone in his own room. Pushing his hands into the pockets of his navy blue pin striped trousers, Travis scuffed his converse clad feet along the ground alittle as he entered the nearly empty staff room. Lessons had started the day before and most of the teachers were currently in lessons, Travis however didn't have one at this second and rather than sitting in the classroom being bored and waiting an hour for the next class to arrive, Travis chose to go to the staff room.

His gaze wandered round the room, his thick framed glasses sitting comfortably on his nose. Pausing for a moment, Travis thought for a moment before grinning slightly and making his way over to a rather comfy looking chair. Flopping down into it, Travis pulled his hands out of his pockets and rested them on the arm rests of the chair, his back was now toward the door so he couldn't really so anyone who might have been coming in. Running the fingers of one hand through his hair, Travis let out a slight sigh, this school seemed so much better than the previous ones he'd taught at though he couldn't put his finger on why or how exactly. The room was quiet, quiet enough for Travis to hear someone else walk into the room. Not moving from where he was, Travis wondered who the new arrival to the room could be and whether or not he or indeed she could see him from where they stood.

[Professor Brendon Casey]

Having a free lesson was quite common at the moment in Evnastea as most of the classes were combined, leaving Brendon with one class a day, and the rest to himself. For now, he was quite enjoying having so much free time, but he knew it wouldn't last as once attendance at the school picked up he would be back to teaching seperate lessons. His sister, Heather, was in the middle of a herbology lesson at the moment, so he was going down to teh staff room alone, hoping to have a cup of tea.

Brendon was already half way into the room when he notived that it was not quite as empty as he had expected, no that that bothered him in any way. Grinning, he changed direction and walked over to where the other professor was sat. "Hey, I'm Brendon." He sat down in teh chair opposite, hoping the other guy wouldn't mind and summoned a mug full of steaming hot tea.

Obviously the guy had seen him as he took a seat not that far from Travis. "Pleasure, I'm Travis." He said with a slight nod not bothering to extend his hand to the guy, Travis had never really been one for hand shakes though there was no particular reason why he should be.

"Erm, so what is it that you teach?" Travis asked without putting much thought into it. all he was trying to do was keep a conversation that had barely started, going.

Runnging his fingersthrough his dark hair, he looked at the guy sat before him and grinned in hi usual manner as he waited for some kind of answer though in hi head was trying to figure it out by himself.
