Gypsi wandered the area not paying attention to anything around her, she was open to an attack or any sort of threat. Yet, this she paid no attention to. She stopped for a moment and looked back; gentle footsteps telling the story of where she had been. She went back to her thoughts and closed her eyes. Inside her mind were images of a family in a wonderful town enjoying themselves, and Gypsi was among them. A small gentle tear made its way down her face, as she brushed her hair to the side. She continued walking recalling her past but forgetting her footsteps.

Iztyrr had a gorgeous black fur draped over his shoulders. It had come from an animal he had hunted before the winter set in. He pulled it tighter around himself as he pushed through the cool chill in the air. Every time he breathed, his breath would create clouds of fog that would roll up into the air. In the distance he saw some sort of small city or village. He looked over to see a sign saying 'Bog--le'. The two letters in the center had been worn away, and were unreadable, after years of wear and tear. He entered the city and looked around, and strangely enough, it was like walking into a wall of fog. The inside of the city was incredibly foggy, and although you could see the nearby scenery clearly, the distance was simply a grey shroud. This surprised Iztyrr greatly, as he thought it was too cold for fog. He walked down in between small cottages that looked as though they had been there for a while; most of them looked like heaps of wood with cracks and dents, and most were crooked. He walked out towards the lake, and looked over a strange yet beautiful scene. The lake was covered in an incredibly low layer of fog, and the sun had started breaking through the overcast clouds right above the lake. The lake glimmered as the sun broke through the fog above the lake, and shone brightly into his eyes. His ears picked up a sound, distracting him from this lovely scene. His keen Drow sense told him someone was nearby. He looked around before spotting a lonely figure in the distance, enshrouded with the fog, before it disappeared into the never ending grey.

Gypsi stopped and closed her eyes, making her hands into a fist. She didn't know who or what was near but she sensed something was in the area. She listened for a few moments before moving on, convincing herself that it was just her mind. She remembered that when she was home her sister used to act like there was always something stalking them, and Gypsi almost always believed her. "A bit of my sister rubbed of on me." She said in a low voice, making sure that if anyone was around they couldnt hear her. That was it, she had a bit of her sister in her and it was only her mind. No one was nearby. 'No one is going to come out of this place and watch me..... I just need to get used to this place.' She looked over her shoulder just to make sure, and then kept walking ahead. Past where she could see.

Iztyrr walked quickly and gracefully, quiet as a passing breeze. He wanted to get a closer look at the figure he saw earlier. This place seemed ever so quiet, almost abandoned, but tracks in the dirt and boats docked along the lake proved that there were still inhabitants. He ran into the wall of fog, and once again saw the silhoutte further in the distance. He would have simply yelled hello, but being a newcomer to D'Lanter, he didn't know anything about this town, or what kind of evils could reside within. He tiptoed closer, and he could make out the form of a woman. She seemed normal enough, and so he spoke.

"Hello...?" He said warily. He opened his mouth as if to say something else, but that's all the came out. He took another step closer, and moved out in front of this woman. He bowed slightly to her, and smiled. He was now close enough to make out her features, despite the fact that she still looked a bit fuzzy in the continously growing fog.

Gypsi lowered her head and continued walking forward, around the man infront of her. "Uh...Hi.." She said hastily and she went a head. He put a peice of her hair behind her ear and closed her eyes. She hadn't met anyone since she came to this town, she didn't call it home. She just called it 'the town'. She moved her tounge up to where her fangs were in her mouth, reminding her of why she left home. She picked up speed, dissapearing into the fog.

Iztyrr watched her push by, and started in a dash after her. The fog was still getting deeper, making this warmer, and more humid. He released his tight grip around his fur piece, and grabbed her arm, once she came into distance again.

"Wait!" He said, perfectly clearly, and not out of breath despite that litte dash "Who are you? Is something wrong? Is there anything I can help you with?"

He pushed his hair back out of his face, and waited for a response, expecting her to dash away just like she did a moment ago. He saw a light come on in a nearby house window, and glanced into the house for a moment, before looking back.

Gypsi stopped, "Unless you can cure a vampires curse there's nothing you can help me with. And I'm Gypsi." She stayed there for a moment and twisted her hair around her finger. She used to lead a normal life. Normal family, normal friends, normal emotions. She used to always be happy and joking around. 'But things change when you find out your inhuman. Your a vampire that could cause pain to you family. And during your slumber you almost or did kill a man, because you were thirsty.... Things change when you find out you are some lie....' She stood there for a while longer. Letting herself drift off into thought.

Another tear made it's way down here face. 'Hard to believe my tears arn't blood.' More tears raced down her face, yet she seemed calm. She tried to remember more about the mother she had as a young baby. The mother who had born her into this world. The mother that abandoned her and died, leaving her clueless and filled with pain in this world she barley understood.

"A vampire?" Iztyrr asked cautiously "Can't say i've ever met any of those... or that I can help you for that matter... But being a vampire isn't that bad is it? Iztyrr looked quizically at the now crying girl, and wiped the tears off her cheek. He smiled warmly as through to cheer her up, but that was difficult considering the fog was thickening, and the sky was getting darker and darker in this dreary little town. Iztyrr put his hand on her shoulder and waited for some response.

She shook her head. "Nothing has to be as bad as it seems. But.... being a vampire changed my life.... No, it took away my life more than anything else." She looked at the ground remembering how far she had traveled to get away from home for the sake of her family. She didn't know how to act or respond. A stranger is trying to comfort her as she complains about her vampirism. She held back anymore tears that might try to escape from her eyes.

Iztyrr truly felt bad for her, she just seemed so helpless, she seemed like she had lost herself. Iztyrr was beginning to feel the negative energy not only around this girl, but in this entire town. It felt as if it was draining him, tugging at his very consciousness. He felt as though this place itself had died, and he realized there was something very wierd about this whole situation.

"So, why are you here? and what happened to this place?" Iztyrr asked while looking around at the dreary scenery around him. Iztyrr then sighed, as the now black sky began to thunder, which was promptly followed with a downpour of rain. Iztyrr pushed his hair back from his face, and pulled that fur tightly around his shoulders again.

Gypsi looked at Iztyrr with a cold icy look. " I know about as much as you, if not less. I came to this town to escape my former life, aswell as save the lives of others. I was a death threat back there, and no one knew it. Not even me." She was silent for a few moments and then looked at the ground. She couldn't see it well, nor could she see the rest of the town well, but she stared. She lifted her head and looked at Iztyrr, "What about you? Why do you wonder this place?" She crossed her arms in a way that made her seem helpless.

"Well, I recently escaped my drow family down in the underground city, and D'lanter was the only place on the surface that seemed to accept me. Everywhere else I was turned down because I was a drow. I was just going for a walk when I encountered this place... and then you." Iztyrr answered honestly.

"Ive never been here before, and don't exactly plan on coming back either to be honest. This place gives me the creeps, and after bring in the underground Drow cities, that's saying something! Iztyrr looked awkwardly at her, and wondered what had really happened in her life.

Gypsi nodded, "This place comforts me. People don't come here often and it's abandoned...." She frowned some and then stared into the deep fog. "What's a drow? I havn't been exposed to any unhuman species. I didn't even think vampires was real till I found out I was one. And I didn't figure that out the easy way." She frowned some and then tried to fake a smile, but her eyes shows the sorrow from her past.

"Oh, heh..." Gypsi was silent for a few moments. 'I'm not hated... They don't know what I am, never suspected me for...Well, they might now. Since I left as soon as I figured it out..." Her voice was low and her eyes told the story of her past. She put her hand on her hair and stroked it with her fingers. "Life is just some dreadful way to watch people die, so those who are immortal have something to laugh at...", She sighed and frowned.

ooc: Sorry I accidently deleted the post. I thought I was clicking the edit button.

bic: Iztyrr frowned for a moment, then looked up at the foggy sky, recalling memories from his days back in the underground cities.

"A drow is similair to an elf, except our skin is ebony, and we were banished from the surface back in the time of the ancients, after a large war. Dark elves are malicious evil creatures, cruel and wicked, not to mention quick and stealthy in the darkness. You probably wouldnt see many on the surface, the light blinds us. I have spent my time getting used to the sun while on the surface however, sometimes using enchantments to help..."

Iztyrr looked at her with a smile, after that, almost asking if that had answered her question.

"I left the cities becauase i realized that I did not like alot of the practices of the drow, and because the male drow were always treated badly. Because of this I escaped up here, realizing that there was nothing more for me to achieve in the dreary underground... So I know what it is like to hate the kind of creature you are - noone would let me into their cities after I came here, all either scared by me, or just terribly angry when they saw me..."

Iztyrr attempted to smile at her, but it ended up lookling like a strange sort of grimace.

"Keep your chin up! There's always SOME thread of hope... I was about to give up my search, of a place where I was accepted, when I stumbled onto this place! There's always light after the darkness"

Drizzt looked up at the foggy shape of the moon up in the middle of the sky.

"Well, I actually have to be going now, may the light guide you! Bye!"

Drizzt bounded off quietly, until he was simply a small hazy speck in the far distance.
