Upon entering the large shop, Alice's eyes widened and she gaped in awe at the large selection of dresses, accessories, etc. She walked over to them slowly and touched the silky material of a midnight blue, strapless gown. It was a low-cut victorian dress that went all the way down her legs and feet. The back of the dress was bare. The sleeves were long and puffy, and they stopped an inch down her hand. Deciding she liked it, she draped it carefully over her arm and went to look for some more to try on. She looked through them for a while, not seeing anything that particularly caught her eye, then went to another group of dresses. After looking through those for a while, she saw a dress that left her in awe of its beauty. It was a long dress that again went down to her feet, and it was lavender, purple, and black. The top was a black and lavender striped corset, and in the very front it had a section where it tied. It bared her shoulders, and the sleeves started a few inches down her arm. It was a small puffy section that was tight, then loose and puffy, then tight again. The sleeves were only a few inches long, and stopped an inch above her elbow. On the very front of the corsret, where it tied with a long, silk lavender-colored ribbon, it had a moon on the very top that had a silver chain that had amethyst stars, and it connected to the sleeves, which also had a moon on each sleeve. The moons were amethysts, also. The skirt part of the dress was long a puffy like the other dress, and it had ribbons that were made into bows on it. Alice decided that she loved this dress, and draped it on her arm like the other dress. After searching for a bit more, she found no other dresses that she liked, and went to try them on. She tried on the blue dress first, and decided it was alright, but nothing special. She then tried on the purple dress, and fell in love with it. It was a perfect fit, clinging onto her like a second skin then falling gracefully around her. she changed into her normal clothes and decided to get that one. She then went to the accessories section and found a set of earings, a bracelet, and a necklace. The necklace was a silver chain that had amethyst stars on it, and in the front was a moon dangling down from a chain of stars. The bracelet was similar, being a chain with amethyst stars and moons. The earings had a large star for the main part that went on her actual ear, then a chain of smaller amethyst stars which went down an inch then ended with an amethyst moon. Alice decided she liked these, and went to look for a mask, shoes, and gloves. She decided on black silk gloves that went up to her elbow and at the elbow a sting of amethyst stars and moons tied around it. The shoes she decided on were black strappy high-heel platform shoes. The mask was a simple half-face martigras that was purple with golden stairs and moons decorating the edges of the outside and the edges of the eyeholes. It was shaped a bit like a butterfly, but not exactly. Alice then got a bit of lavender eye-shadow, a tube of lavender-tinted lip-gloss that was grape flavored, a bit of dark-purple mascara and eyeliner, and some purple skin-sparkles. She then payed for the items, and walked out of the store, happy to have gotten her perfect dress.

Just as Alice walked out, Ivy walked in, smiling brightly as she brushed a strand of white-blonde hair from her eyes. She tiptoed over to a stand of dresses, made of various fabrics and shaded all different colors. Her hand fished in between the dresses, and her eyes squeezed shut, a soft sigh falling from her pale pink lips as her hand rested on a dress. The fabric was surprisingly soft and warm, and Ivy's eyes opened, and she felt her lips part in a gasp as she saw the dress her hand had rested on.
The dress was made up of two parts, the shirt a dark amethyst purple, the bottom a wide black skirt that fell around the feet in soft waves. Pale diamonds glittered like white fire at the beginning of the skirt and at the hem, lining it. A hot pink sash was tied around the waist of the amethyst shirt, with a lace edge. Ivy instantly picked the dress up, grunting a she felt th eheavy weight of the dress fall on her arm, as she stumbled to the dressing room. When inside, she slipped into the dress, staring at herself in the mirror.
The amethyst and hot pink sash brought out a rosy hue in her pale cheeks, but the dress was a bit too big on Ivy. She looked like a five year old trying on her mother's clothes while her parents were at a party. She sniffed in disdain, smoothing the creases of the dress with a sigh. Ivy would buy the dress anyways, no matter how big. The rest of them were small, clinging rosy things that suffocated you. She slipped back into her regular clothes, muddling in her own thoughts before she stepped outside. She browsed through the jewelery section, finally finding a pair of opal earrings set in silver and a golden locket hanging from a black velvet choker necklace.
Now all that was left was a mask.
She looked at several before she found the perfect one. A stiff peice of fabric that clung to your face, dropping just to the beginning of ivy's slender cheekbones. It was black with almond shaped eye-holes, sliding over her nose, with black raven feathers plastered on. She smiled, paying for the items before slipping outside, her purchases in her bag.
