Sunrise for Natasha, The Silence is Broken

[Annwn]

Frisky shook his head yes, glancing around nervously.
"Do we have to go with that faerie?" he whimpered, kicking at a nearby toddler who tried to bite him.
Oh my lord! I swear that thing had teeth. It can't be anything more than an infant! And already with a full set of chompers.
Frisky's attention drifted toward Annwn and Natasha.
His eyes became wide with fright as he stared into Natasha's eyes.

She looks demonic!
He shifted away from a human reaching out to touch him.


Annwn was watching Frisky with an annoyed glitter hidden away in her eyes, blending in with her facial expression.
Her gaze shifted toward the little girl.
"No... I don't believe he shall be accompanying us, dear."
Her eyes narrowed at Natasha. Did this girl take her to be some sort of fool? Obviously, this child was not human.

[Holly]

"I suppose we do." Holly whispered hesitantly, biting her lip as her gaze flashed to the pair of Annwn and Natasha. "By the way, please don't kick at anything. I'd be absolutely torn if you killed someone and we were caught." Her tone had a coating of sarcasm, only heard if you strained for the bitter emotion found in her words. She smiled frostily, her hand moving away from the unicorn's neck. "Be careful, though. I'm not sure if we can trust anyone, besides Queen Annwn." She whispered this, sure that no one but Frisky could hear.

[Luna]

Alice pulled the jacket tighter to herself unconciously and replied, "Thirteen. We're the same age! We should date." She winked at the boy then started giggling, managing to say between her laughter, "Kidding, kidding!" She licked her dry lips and reached in her bag to find her favorite chapstick, then applied it. While putting it back, she noticed a bag of cookies she had baked earlier. There were three left. She took out two, and offered one to Ian silently by holding it out, and started nibbling on the cookie that she had gotten out for herself.

[Caoli]

Natasha sniffed, then pretended to rub the corner of her mouth, really hiding her fangs. She blinked a few times and squeezed her eyes shut. When they again opened, they were wide, cute, and blue. No sign of her greedy expression that was moments before lingered on her face.
"Please, ma'am?" she asked, practically prancing up to the unicorn and brushing past Holly, as if trying to knock her out of the way. "I just want a pony ride. My legs get tired real easily."
I don't think Ms. Caoli would like to hear about them, either, she though, but just to herself. She'd save blackmail for later.

[Holly]

Holly stared at the seven year old, her eyes narrowing. "Are you talking to me, or Annwn?" She said, then bit her lip, wishing she hadn't spoken at all. She took her hands off of Frisky's neck, a puzzled expression on her face. Her lips twisted in a confused, nearly embarassed, expression, before she shook her head, dispersing the thought that this child couldn't be human. Maybe there was a reason for the seven year old's behaviour.... or maybe not.

[Caoli]

Ian grinned. He almost said, "That's not a bad idea," but stopped himself. Alice would just take him as a joke.
He breathed into his cupped hands, then rubbes them together to warm them up. Then slowly reaching out, he took the cookie from her hand.
"Thanks," he smiled again, and took a bite. He look up after a second and added, "You know, we really should get to work..."

Natasha shrugged. "Both. I dunno. You control the unicorn-" she waved her hand at Holly "-and you seem to control her-" she looked at Annwn, then pointed to Holly once more "-so whichever has the most power, I guess."
She suddenly reached out to touch the horse, wondering what it would do.

[Annwn]

Frisky had all the while been keeping his distance from the crowd, which was now beginning to thin out.
"Stay away from me, you wretched little monster!" he whinnied, shying away from Natasha's outstretched hand.
He shook his mane violently, and stood proudly; his feeble attempt at appearing all powerful.


Annwn couldn't help feeling that everything was going wrong. The faerie twitched her nose, and then her wings fluttered.
"We should really be going."

[Luna]

Alice's eyes widened as she realized that Ian was right. She quickly put the half of the cookie that was left into her bag, grabbed Ian's hand, and ran with him down the spiral stair-case. Once downstairs, she let go of Ian's hand, jumped over the bar, and put on an apron. She noticed a bit of dust on the table-top, and frowned cutely. She searched for a rag and smiled once she found a clean one. Alice started wiping down the tables, not satisfied until they reflected her face. Once they did she looked around for something interesting to do while she waited for a customer.
